Very skilled and thorough driver! Even though he could have pushed more several times, he lifted the gas because he saw tricky situations in front of him, before they occured! Great video!
Really clean driving, superb driving on the R32 and sincerely.... what a nice traffic this time, everyone was aware of their mirrors and quickly keeping right lane, even tho it was a busy track, nice lap. GT3RS might still be having nightmares by their mirrors with that R32 pushing behind with a lot of power yet to be delivered..

Absolutely amazing video! Man, what a machine and what a driver. You can tell he really knows his car. Didn't have to push or fight it at all, just worked with it doing little corrections here and there in the damp sections. Kept it smooth the whole way. Also, loved seeing the Porsche suspension working under load from the rear. Watching how it took the bumps during turns then settle itself immediately to put down the power coming out of the turn. It reminded me of all the late 90s videos of modded civic hatches and AE86s track battling GTRs in best motoring - except this time the "underdog" GTR was battling the godzillas of GT3s. Lol
Looked like gtr had the edge on grip and brakes and was held back by gearing as the p's systematically pulled away out of corners. I also expected a bit more response from the rb with the twin t setup as it needed to be up the rev range to pull proper. Still a beast, finely setup and fast. Good to see these still ripping up tarmac rather than being speculated on 🙂
@@TheTechnoaddict I dunno. It is a full track build with super grippy tires, high-end suspension and he upgraded the brakes from a previous 6-pot set. I've seen enough porsche laps and reviews to know how fn good they are. Doesn't mean a stock one is automatically superior in all areas than a high-budget purpose-built car. I dont know how good the p drivers were or how much they were pushing but they only moved aside once at the start and after that, they just seemed to hold the gtr back in corner entry while pulling away at exit. Unless you show me their onboard, I can only go by observation.
@@papapetad it's a stock gt3 rs. That's not a normal porsche. It's pretty much a road legal race car. Much more downforce as the gtr, better acceleration as u could see, insane brakes and suspension. The gtr is a nice build but not comparable to a modern gt3 rs and that's not bad thing. The driving experience will probably be better as the porsche.
@@TheTechnoaddict Yes, I could see it accelerate away out of corners. I could also see it holding the gtr back on corner entry, regardless of how good the engineering is. I'm well aware the R32 is not a gt3 but if you throw enough money at one, it can still be a rapid thing. This is just observation, not a pissing contest 😚
It's crazy how a 30ish year old car that was over engineered when it came out can still legitimately hang with the new kings.

My grandma could drive a GT3RS and you would be able to keep up with her the whole lap with your shit box. Would not mean that your car is fast ;-)
Even more insane that it was faster both on braking and in the corners, despite them having active aerodynamics and tons of downforce!
Traffic and the skyline modded to high hell the 3rs would piss all over it without traffic

No the Nissan doesn't have more grip or better brakes as the porsche gt3 rs😅 they weren't even close to pushing the car.
