Did you only do pistons and rods or you changed cams and springs aswell? 👌👌
@@Pedro_opc it's just an B14 - not optimal for track (to soft). Cams and springs are not modified.
What shifter are you using please ?

Catching a bike with 2/3 the power and 1/10 the traction on a twisty track isn’t impressive! Although it’s a mental corsa non the less
And to be fair I’m not sure any other driver would even get close either way

Was looking for this comment. It's the combination of a great pilot and a great small prepared car. Bike and Porsche only escaped in the long straight parts, for obvious reasons. Knowing the track and having practice is key.
@@andyking05 yo you forgot that the bike´s weight is about 1/5 to the car, so it probably has about 200hp/250kg while corsa has 300hp/1250kg (0.8 vs 0.4) the bike has a 2 times better power/weight ratio

Fast car! Nice build! The D/E Corsa OPC with the NÜR/PP package is almost the best OPC in my mind. I drive also an OPC but as the Astra H. The Corsas as OPC and the H Astra OPC is in my mind the best OPCs you can get for the weight/Performance aspect.

Lovely sound, with some sticky tires and no yellow I bet the lap would be a pretty awesome experience (not that this one wasn't) always nice to see your carcontrol..
now - GoPro, get your act together and manufacture a mount that sticks to any surface - we want to see the speedometer 😁😁
It's like having a wet dream that 300hp corsa :DD Haha, the guy in the 1 series right on the start probably didn't expect a little Corsa would jump like it did that he couldn't catch :))

@@Pad_STR Ich fahre selber einen Corsa E OPC. Nächstes Upgrade ist EMS, Astra H Kupplung, Diff revidieren und das ganze Getriebe bei HAS Antriebstechnik machen lassen. :) Soll dann in die Richtung deines Autos gehen, wenn mal der Motor gemacht wird.

As a Fiesta owner. I love a small car. In the UK we got fantastic country roads. And legally allowed to do 60mph. Small cars rule ✌ Excellent video. Cheers

@@danprecious4583 I used to have the Focus ST170. Reminds me a bit of that. Just a mini version with less BHP. Took me a few years to save up. But worth it. ✌
The shifts look so satisfying, and the big succ sound from the car is great. Fast little Corsa!

someone needs to give you a opel corsa opc nurburgring edition to fly round this track,bilsteins,brembos and drexler diff standard, they are so much more fun
I do have one and like you said it’s a very fun toy, if you’re up to do a lap just tell me and we can catch up there! It would be interesting to see how it handles with a real driver behind the wheel :)

I almost bought a Corsa OPC when I was looking for a hothatch, the only downside was the gearbox that is made from glass which kept me away from it.
The gearbox is not bad if you shift properly and change the oil. Only people who trash them and shift like crazy can break that gearbox.
@@DKSON1337 I've heard some horror stories so I wasn't sure. Bought a 500 Abarth instead, no issues
@@MozzarellaBasket I've heard horror stories too but I decided to pull the trigger and 2 years later still no major issues and I rip around with it quite frequently lol Anyway, as long as you're happy with your car, that's all that matters 👌

Relativ to the price it's a good choice and you don't have to maintain it, but the Drexler LSD from the Nürburgring editions are working way better.

Depends on your budget and what power.
Low budget: Toyota Yaris VVTI, Suzuki Swift 1.3, Peugeot 106 1.6, Golf mk4 1.8t. Just empty interior, tires, rims, brakes and suspension.
High budget: Ford fiesta ST, Opel Corsa OPC, Golf 6 GTI, Leon Cupra, Clio RS.
Plenty of choices, I probably left out a lot of fun cheap cars.

That's no grinding noise and no tire scraping, it's the exhaust gas flowing through the exhaust during hard acceleration (and you can hear the tires whining)
