A month late but I am now 5 days in of the 30 challenge workout! Tim, I start more days of my life with you than not! My chiropractor even endorses you! I broke my shoulder 6 months ago and she specifically suggested this challenge as being just what I need. I appreciate you and your courses so much! Thanks Yoga Tim!!!

Beautiful class today, thank you Tim. I have enough openness in the hamstrings to lift the legs to 90º without a strap, but I thought I'd try it today. The gentle pressure of the strap pushing the leg down into the hip socket made a huge difference. Similarly with forward fold, I can touch my toes without aid, but decided to rest on a chair instead, and the experience was much more relaxing on the lumbar region. Today was a good reminder that props aren't just for less flexible people. Props to the props.

BRO! You didn't tell me we needed a towel!!!
Jokes aside, thanks for this video Tim. The 2022 course and the focus on releasing the shoulders from the ribcage while keeping alignment with the hips has been exactly what I've needed. I've been doing PT/Yoga/Stretching for almost 10 years and never realized how tight and unmobilized my shoulders are. I really appreciate your slow, clear, and consistent explanation of how to get the shoulders unstuck. It has really helped me fix some issues in my body I thought were permanent.
    Keep up the good work!

When you proposed to set the leg straight toward the ceiling, I immediately thought "Oh nice, I'm gonna talk about my short hamstrings in the comments!". I just can't keep my leg straight in that position. I have learned over the years that I just can't do that which is very frustrating when you take ballet classes and you start on the ground trying to find your 'en dehors'" with your leg in the air. It's so funny how flexible some parts of my body can be and how tight my hamstrings are. It was really nice to have time to stay in the stretch. That's clearly something I do not do enough just because I lack time and always want to do as much as possible when I practice yoga. The long stretch at the beginning clearly made it easier to bend over the straight leg in the standing pose. We've already worked on so many things in just five days. I'm rediscovering some poses and some sensations. Can't wait to go deeper into the practice. Day 5 completed. The first day of fasting in 2022 completed too. Thanks Tim, for being super inspiring.

It's good to be reminded that one side of your body may (will) be different from the other, and yoga is different each time you come onto the mat. It's also good to be reminded that anticipating that your "bad" hip/shoulder/whatever is going to act up each time is not particularly helpful. I know I have arthritis in my right foot, but maybe the crescent lunge will be difficult today, or maybe it won't. Paying attention is paramount; learning the difference between backing off and avoidance has helped me.

My favourite class, so far. I've been in and out of Yoga for the last 28 years (I'm 60). I had a long and lazy summer and now I've decided to take it slow and from the begginers level. And after so long it's the first time that I really got to understand the connection between rib cage and shoulders and how I was compensating the shoulder rotation with the expension of the lower ribs. Always learning, right? Tim, you are a lot of fun and pleasurable to be with. I can only imagine how it would feel with you present. Thank you so much. I really appreciate it. Rui

    Hi Tim,
At 6'4'' with hamstrings tighter than piano wire I appreciated the focus of today's class. Getting better and better (an closer and closer to my toes) each day! sitting on the ankle with the opposite knee crossed over was a bit of a struggle, but I adapted! Love the Ramones shirt, by the way. Classic!

Hi Tim- we are loving the 2022 challenge. I appreciate your demonstration of straps and appreciate the additional time you give in each stretch. It takes me a moment to get my strap situated so that I can begin the stretch. On a separate note, it would be very helpful if the banner image included the title and day of the challenge. We are persuing the challenge every other day and find it difficult to find the day we are looking for.

@@yogawithtim Hi Tim, I am signed up for the challenge and get your emails daily (and appreciate the message and the content). We have created our own challenge by doing them every other day, because the video that pops up when we log in is the most recent one, not the one we are doing. I have tried adding them to a watch later list with each email, but they do not appear in the list when we log in on the TV. You Tube does not list them (on our TV) in the order in which they are posted, so to find our next video, we have to select one, begin it to reveal the title or wait for you to welcome us to Day XX.
We started with you with the 2019 Challenge and it has given my husband and me the opportunity to practice yoga together multiple times a week, no matter where we are. We look forward to starting each year with the 30 day challenge and see a difference in our posture, core strength and flexibility. As avid cyclists, it is become an essential part of our weekly habits. Thank you so much.
