I decided to drive to Iowa to see @KevinVo and im happy I did it. They say dont always meet your heroes but I have to say Kevin was the nicest, most down to earth guy. Thanks! It helps that they aren't too far. Iowa is only 5 1/2 hrs so the drive was nothing. Plus I'm a Hilton honors member so I just use my points for the hotel. My wife is the real hero for letting me be gone days at a time. 😂

I commented last vid but I got no response, just wanted to ask about the VB wrx. Is it realistic to get this car to go 0-60 in mid to low 3s? And if so how much work would that require? I'm ordering one soon and I love watching these vids. Thanks!
It's possible but you're looking at getting full Bolton's, STI transmission, and possibly turbo kit on E85. Then you just need to perfect your launches since we don't have launch control. On 93 I have been getting low 4s 0-60 but my launches aren't great so it is possible. With enough money ANYTHING is possible. Lol
I know that aeroflowdynamics did 3.6 seconds without an STI transmission but not sure about the bolt ons or turbo kit
Fbo with ethanol blend will get you ~3.5 if you up your rev limiter in 2nd to 7000, and with good driver mod. It’s going to be hard on the drivetrain and you may need to consider the sti trans. The motor should have 0 issues in taking the power tho. Enjoy your new VB!
@@luvhcchris thanks man, i've been dreaming about this for a while. i think the fa24 is more than capable of mid 3s but like you said its the trans that will give. hopefully i wont need a turbo kit anytime soon
@@heros_diamond6846 yeah man. My tuner already has consistent 3.3-3.5 0-60 on his intake+front mount+ethanol blend tune. The torque comes in hard on the stock turbo.
If you wanna see a pull of the Ets turbo kit, I’ve got one on my channel! I went with the Garrett upgrade myself. Worth it but it’s pricey
