HI Victor, I've joined not recently and I'm already a big fan of your videos. I like the way you simplify complex topics as a cookbook 🙂
I'm super interested to see a video on your Cura configuration and tweaks similar to what you did on the offset video. if you can find time to review it will be awesome.
Keep doing those great videos which enrich our 3D (CR10S Pro) printing community.

Hey man, I just wanted to say I’m a big fan of your channel, I love the CR 10 pro v2… it’s one of my favorite printers and I own bambu carbon x1… I can’t wait to update my printer with the latest firmware and the things you’re doing to yours. I already put it benditech head and many other mods on mine. It’s like an upgraded super printer, but I do wanna do the. Miguel mod and a couple of the other moms that you’ve done here. I just want to tell you keep up the good work and in the future I love to be able to share what I’m doing with my CR 10. Love your channel man.

Hello Brim Leal, Thank you for the kind comments. I'm glad you're finding value in these video's for your viewing time. Having the CR10S Pro V2 produce super clean PETG prints at 100mm/s is super exciting. You're going to be blown away at how much locked up potential this printer has. How do you like the Carbon X1? My buddy that lives in the UK can't say enough about how beautiful the prints are. Those guys at Bambu knocked it out of the park with that machine and its budget brother.
      Enjoy your weekend :)

Oh Victor you are KILLING ME. So complicated but my God we need this so bad. I ordered the Garolite plate that nearly cost as much as the 4.2.7 board. Wow! You did a great job. I am not ready. I thought you had the MicroSwiss DD unit what is this DD and when did you it. Was it because of the weight??? Thank You WoW Dennis

Hey Victor @@vbared I have gone with a 7 inch Screen, OctoKlipper, Klipper and sticking with S3D V5, Have yet to Calibrate fully but OMG with your Garolite bed I am printing CF PETG perfectly, PLA+ is even better. All my prints are 10X better than ever. What a Transformation. Using the older MicroSwiss DD and Hotend but now hearing the new NG is worth the upgrade. Its Only money?

@@DennisMurphey Hi Dennis, that's great news, man. I'm so glad that you are enjoying the CR10S Pro V2 again. The G10 Garolite is a real game changer for PETG, PLA, Nylon, and ASA.
Soon after I bought the Micro Swiss NG they came out with the Micro Swiss NG REVO (linked below). I reached out to them and they sold me the NG conversion parts. I'm going to swap out my other printers to them.
      amzn.to/3YAyhc9
I didn't notice a difference in quality but it's much lighter in weight, has more torque, the shortest filament path, and the REVO system allows you to swap out nozzles without having to ever worry about problems with the nozzle to heat break seal inside the heat block. The REVO nozzles have no seals inside the the melt zone. Say goodbye to blowouts and clogs forever.

Hello @vbared. I got my printer (CR-10s Pro V2) in september -23 and I'm hooked!
Love your channel and have watched all your upgrade-videos for my printer. I Like to tinker and I'm not afraid of taking things apart and try to make it better, and your channel have helped me alot!
But where did you get the belt-tensioner for the x-axis? I've searchd high and low and coulden't find anything? Is it 3d printed or just a modification from other machine?
    Keep up the great work!

      Hi friend,
Thank you for commenting and encouragement. I'm glad you found value in these videos for your viewing time.
Oh, yeah, if you like to tinker 3D printing is a great hobby that is easy on the bank account. Wait until you learn some basic CAD to make physical things that you can see in your mind. I needed some drywall anchors and instead of heading off to Home Depot I just logged into OnShape and designed one that could use standard 1 inch drywall screws and printed a dozen of them. The technology is truly amazing and a tool everyone should own.
I modified this Thingiverse X-tensioner to increase the X- travel. I can't remember for the life of my which slider is the one I used so I included both. I guess measure the opening you have on the bearing to determine which to use. Make sure to scale the slider z&x down to 99% and scale the nut x&y up to 101% so they will thread together easily. Leave the housing as is. All the parts are printed without supports.

    • @vbared
      @vbared  ปีที่แล้ว +1

Hi John, Thank you for your kind comment :)
Yes, I designed a new cooling system for the Micro Swiss NG over the last couple of months. It uses a 35x35mm 24v cooling fan from an E3D V6 hotend along with a second 4010 blower and new CR-Touch mounting bracket. The whole thing is more compact than the stock setup with way better cooling. I'm still finishing up some more tweaks and will release it to my Shopify store for $4.99 soon.
Best of luck with your mods!

@@vbaredI want to be able to do aluminum parts for my Jeep and motorcycle parts. I am hoping that I can do both dry and vapor blasting as some of the Jeep and other part require a heavier blast.

@@johndavis2048 Yes, you can do both and even using the same V3 vapor blast gun just switch out the nozzle for this ceramic one and make sure the gun is completely dry inside. I designed to have a very strong syphon when air flows through the nozzle so it will easily work with both. www.eastwood.com/eastwood-blast-cabinet-foot-pedal-gun-replacement-nozzles.html

Victor great series. But I have a question on the Customize Miguel's Professional Firmware. The issue have is when I open the config file there is no createcofig .pyw. Just a creatconfig without the .pyw. The file will not open. Not sure what I did wrong. I have a ender 3pro upgraded to an ender extender 400xl. I need to change the bed size to 400 x 400 x 500. So far I can get any support from the company makes the extender.... Thanks for taking the time to create all these great video. The videos have been a great help to me.

Hello Sarge Dutch, Thank you for your kind comments. I'm glad you are getting value from this series for your viewing time. The configurator file is located in the root directory of the special configurations folder linked below. Just download, unzip it and look for the .PYW file. If you still don't see it it might be getting quarantined by your antivirus software.

Victor your missing a trick. Cura uses a formula in the print speed that makes your walls half the print speed. Change all your infill, wall etc to the same speed. Keep initial layer down to 35m/s for good bed adhesion. Youll see your print time halve. Also when you input shape it shows in the console what it thinks your max acceleration is with little smoothing. This should be put into your max acceleration as a starting point. Great videos

Hi Victor, happy to talk on email or whats app. Im in the UK so probably not best to call. I had all sorts of fun getting the wiring right. Seems like my printer plus my new board flips all the wires around. Got it working fine now. Happy to help, i print using PETG which probably has a limit to how fast you can print but as i print tall prints and this is a bedslinger il expect thats going to be my limit. Speed isnt a problem at the mo its accelerstion. Mention in another video that acceleration affects curves made up of small lines. So far either arcwelder plugin or up the acceleration fixes this
