Im getting an error with Sharpii on Windows 7 when i do this, it gives a Error 255 on the Patcher, and it throws a error that follows it, it occurs at 31% of the downloading files, and it says this: Unhandled Exception: System.MissingMethodException: Method not found: !!0[] System.Array.Empty()'.

I noticed my check mii out channel user mii in the background at 7:15 ,I barely won that contest for biggest virtual boy fan mii. I'm 31 years old and never owned a Wii, my only experience with it was when my friend lent me his console to play Xenoblade Chronicles (game series that I absolutely adore to this day) but never messed with it beyond that one game. As someone that actually has modded PS2 FAT and OG Xbox consoles I love how easy is to mod the Wii, barely anything can go wrong and if it does the fixes are quite easy.

Not sure if this is the same thing I'm thinking of, but if it says "Not microsoft verified", and the only option is "don't run", then click "more info" or whatever thing it says, and then the "run anyways" button should appear :D
@@SuperStarStudiosPlush I actually got it to work before commenting, by right clicking, choosing properties, and clicking the box at the bottom (I forget what the box is labeled, I just know it lets you bypass windows defender.) you can then disable the Microsoft verified thing in system settings.

the only issue I have is that the RiiConnect24 patcher keeps asking me about the VC redist, and despite already having it installed, If I choose to let it install again, the patching just resets back to 0% and asks me again when it reaches like 70% or something

yes and technically there is a way to download homebrew without an SD card but it's recommended to prevent bricking the system. There are tons of videos on how to do so but the safest and easiest way is to have an SD card

split your wi-fi signal to 5GHz and 2.4GHz in your router configuration. If the Wii still doesn't find your wi-fi signal, type in the SSID of your 2.4GHz Signal (wi-fi name) manually. this worked for me
