Hello everyone, I forgot to clarify that the Wii U doesn’t allow you to do the No Homebrew Method. Also you NEED the game disk in order to play the games. There are ways to do it with USB Loader GX, so just check the description to see that info. Also if your wondering if your save data will not work or be corrupted with patching, well it should be totally fine. The save a data is stored on the Wii so when you use the Wimmifi patcher it should just come into affect just like loading up the game regularly. Hope this helps, and ENJOY!

my metroid prime iso for the gamecube isnt showing up on the usb loader gx
so i dragged the metroid prime iso into the games\Metroid Prime [GM8something] and named it game.iso but usb loader didnt show it
then i dragged it into wbfs\metroid prime gm something and named it the gmsomething.iso
still didnt work

This is unbelievably awesome, I just played mario kart with people from 10 different countries on a 15 year old console who's services have been discontinued for 8 years.

its the whole reason I homebrewed my wii I packed it up in 2012 when I went to college and forgot about it till recently and I looked up what you could do with a Wii console which lead me to homebrew which lead me here.

@@Pixel-xb2df try insted of using 8.8.8.8 1.1.1.1 or nothing in the secondary dns thing i had the same thing that it doesent work with 8.8.8.8 and 1.1.1.1 then i try it with nothing and it works

This works surprisingly. Got in a server with a bunch of funky kongs and immediately got last place. It was still fun.

for the people having problems with the agreement showing nintendo's official agreement rather than what was shown in the video, i think i know why. This may be a bit confusing, but, some internet providers force their DNS, rather than the one(s) you put in manually. I'm not sure how you could get around that other than using the homebrew method, but i hope i answered your question on why it isn't working.

@@yoshirivalry if it isn't working for you, try a different wifi connection. i have three different wifi connections and only one worked. if i t doesn't work, your wifi isn't compatible. sorry.

It's going to be very useful when I go online. Currently I don't go online on Wii games because my Wii U isn't homebrewed, I do have a Wii as well thankfully. I think this is probably the easiest tutorial for people.

Highly recommend soft-modding your wii if you haven't yet.

I followed another tutorial but it never worked. I searched again and oh, the primary dns was different. Lets try then. Boom, worked immediately. Am now olaying online (waiting for match to start) omg cannot believe it this has been years I did play online (that was before shutdown😂)...

Hey! thanks for the guide. I have some questions, for the homebrew method: is it possible to play with games that are installed on the Wii? if it is, does it work with games installed from an SD card or with WiiFlow?

Thanks for this video! With homebrew method, I believe that I have followed the instructions exactly, but when I reinsert the SD card back into my wii, and run homebrew, the wiimmfi patcher app does not appear (even though the files are on the SD card)...does anyone have any advice? Could it be that I don't have any discs (all my games are on a hard drive)? Thanks!
I think you need the discs
copy the files from the patcher file and keep one on the root and one in the apps folder. it worked for me that way.

Yes I think option 1 worked. It is not ideal, but super useful (no sd card or something just 1-2 minutes of time needed which us not really a big deal for this its cool thou). Thank you soooo much!

hey, i'm trying this now because i have been really trying to play Mario Kart online but everytime i put in the DNS and save it, after a while it still says Unable to connect to the Internet, and for some reason it is mostly working for other people but not me, im starting to think its my router? i mean its pretty strong but it just wont connect. Im not sure what to do

You have to wait 1 month to play on Wiimmfi
@@squidwardsquad They don't want DNS servers to be DDoSed or whatever, idk. It's some kind of anti-hack system that prevents spam bots

For secondary dns put 1.1.1.1 and it should work
To me when you said to wait 2 minutes my screen is diferent than yours. It doesnt says wiimmfi or please wait this will take 1 2 minutes.

Okay, so I get 51030, even after double and triple checking everything. Thus, I assume that my router uses WPA3 or something.

There is a message when I try to do the 3:06 step. It says “To use Wiiconnect24 and the Wii ship channel please confirm the user agreement after configuring internet settings” someone please help
It means that your router might not be compatible with this method. I don't know any other alternatives though ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
That was happening for me, restart the internet settings and do everything all over again and try again
Try using the 8.8.8.8 secondary dns, if that doesn’t work, try without it
Instead of 8.8.8.8 use 1.1.1.1 I had the same problem and it worked for me

when i click on agreement/ contact, it takes me to the page where i can either click “i accept” or “i do not accept” but it’s coming up with a completely different page to the one in this video

I believe it may be a problem with your router and doesn't allow custom DNS (mrbean35000vr says this in his video)
Look at mrbean35000vr video. His code is wrong and outdated so he has a new one in the description

Ghosty 596 i got mine working maybe i can help! where he put 8.8.8.8 i changed it to 1.1.1.1 someone in a reply said so so i jus todd that and then i exited out. then i came back and sat on the user agreements selection screen for a few minutes, then it worked like normal

@@yungprometazin Oh no, it's just that I wasn't able to connect to the internet for certain games I bought on the wiishop but I solved my situation without needing any of this and contacted support to change my email and rebought the games at discounted price, so yeah 2 months ago I was just looking for methods lol but glad it works for you
