Thank you Brad and Bob - Your videos taught me all that I needed to know about dislocated shoulders. I dislocated mine a few days ago. The docs who put it back said it was a partial dislocation. I'm 43 and very active in the gym both in cardio and weight training and am apprehensive if I will be able to get back to gym doing the exact same things I used to. This is my first episode. Please can you comment on my situation? Thank you so much for all your videos. You are certainly famous for me

saw your video, it's really helpful. I met one accident 3 years before. I took ayurvedic treatment and went for as usual work. last month I played shuttle cork nd got dislocated in my right arm. I took same ayurvedic treatment nd started my regular work. I didn't take any MRI. is it necessary to go for surgery. I heard about arthroscopic shoulder surgery. if I go for surgery, it won't happen again?

I fell on a slope while out walking in September and I think I might have injured my right shoulder as I can't put it up above my head now. I assume it wasn't dislocated as I would be in extreme pain. Anyway, I must have injured some part of it. Will try these exercises. thanks.

I’m 27, and my husky dislocated my right shoulder about ten days ago. I start PT on Tuesday. The orthopedic surgeon told me I have a 20 percent chance of full recovery without surgery. 80 percent that I’ll need surgery. He sounded like he wanted to jump right into surgery. I can feel it’s starting to heal, but I still feel numbness on my upper arm, and I still can’t move it out. It still feels very unstable. I don’t want to be out for 5 to 6 months after surgery. I like to run, do push-ups and I was just starting to practice pull ups and use pulley weights. I’m active, and now I’m very depressed. Do you think I’ll need surgery, and how should I make the decision for surgery? Should I go through PT first, and opt for an mri before jumping into surgery?

@@antoniodaniel5518 much better. I completed pt, but my shoulder still clicks and has soreness in certain positions. I have regained 99 percent range of motion, and I’m focusing on strengthening it with caution. I haven’t had any more dislocations, and I don’t plan on having surgery unless it dislocates again.

@@antoniodaniel5518 I can do push-ups now, but I still want to build up to pull-ups. It was just a great feeling to run for the first time out of my sling. Never take it for granted.

@@antoniodaniel5518 mine took 2-3 months about 2-3 times a week. I renewed my sessions for as long as my insurance allowed. Just do the exercises your therapists shows you every day. Listen to her every step of the way.
