Dear lord Food Network needs to take notice... this woman is legit... you just made canned greenbeans look like collard greens with potato.... this is comfort food!!! A little hot sauce and I'm in on this. Thank you for another amazing video. Wife and I went to New Orleans School of Cooking and this kind of stuff is the stuff we would make when not doing the fancy stuff. 9 times out of 10 I would have taken the comfort food... lol thank you for sharing your beautiful personality with us.
One of my very favorites as an adult. Hated as a kid. Mouth watering right now. Yum. O, never thought of using can potato’s in other things. Gonna try them in the green beans. I do use in an artichoke/potato casserole made like a stuffing. Omgoodness to die for also. So happy to be a born n raised “SOUTHERNER”!!!!!!!!!!! Good job 👏 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Even when I'm in a hurry to get canned green beans on the table, a spoonful of bacon grease goes in the green beans and dehydrated onions. Lol. When I can my green beans, I use ham broth in them instead of water. Delish! Looks great Sandra!

Totally true about bacon grease. A little bit sometimes is fine and reuse it in soup or casserole and if you have veggies in there it balances out😂 I like cooking bitter greens with Italian sausage and it's just a little sausage more greens and you don't feel unhealthy after.
Your bacon and onions look so pretty, I know your green beans are going to be delicious! When the pot liquor is right, it’s serious, it makes everything delicious!
The Badia complete seasoning I use is in all major food store chains. It has dehydrated garlic, onion, salt, and tiny vegetable herbs in it. Great in meats and vegetables. Smells amazing.

@@cookingwithsandrafay I tried turkey bacon... it didn't really produce grease, so I added a tiny bit extra virgin olive oil and followed the recipe explicitly... the green beans were a hit! Thanks so much... a new subbie who also followed your corn casserole recipe and it was the talk of the dinner last night! 2 recipes... 2 hits! I felt so happy with the compliments... as I don't usually cook and don't think I can!
