Jeff - anything special about the hose material, say polyethylene glycol resistant? Are they simply hydraulic hoses made at like NAPA? I noticed the red stripe? Is that indicating anything in particular?

Its standard hydraulic hose, they are rated for multiple types of fluid.
      From the manufacturer:
SAE 100R2 -S is a high-pressure hose that is used for petroleum or fluids having a water base. The reinforcement layer has two high tensile steel wire braids and the outer cover is abrasion, ozone, and weather resistant synthetic rubber, which is MSHA approved. The temperature ranges from -40F to +212F (+248F max.)
I can send you some more info if you want to email me: Jeff@ginosgarageusa.com

Thanks Jeff. I believe that is equivalent (212F) to what I used from NAPA for mine. I replaced them about 5 years ago.

The bottom side work is not the easiest. Overall not a bad job.
