      micro center is junk, there is a store right down the rd from me. i have returned 2 rolls of their inland filament, and had to return a ender 3 v2 and came with a broken glass bed. i had so much clogging and stringing with the inland filament. when i use overture or elegoo filament i never have a issue with clogging. i use a .5mm stainless steel nozzle on my ender 3 pro. i've had my ender 3 pro for 2 years no issues with this printer to date yet, ordered that printer from amazon.

    Bambu X1C with AMS is AWESOME, but bit small for printing helmets. P1P is similar, without enclosure. For cosplay/helmets (Iron Man / Mando outfits), go Elegoo Max. I believe they have a 4 MAX that run Klipper, but with a proprietary nozzle. I use 3 MAX which can do any helmet even for fat heads. Creality for me has been a "learning experience", fun and educational, but would not recommend for first timer. For first timers, one of the Bambu or Elegoo 3s.

    • @honda-s2k

      i have the elegoo 3 max its cheaper and has a huge build plate. i can get 2 elegoo 3 maxs for the price of one creality k1. the elegoo 3 pro is $79 cheaper than the ender 3 pro and has the same if not better features than my ender 3 pro.

    This was a very nice overview of the printers offered by Microsoft Center. I only wish all the MC’s operated the same way as your location does. The store in Columbus, OH has some serious stocking and on-site associate support issues that result in lost sales and unhappy customers. I can honestly say that there has only been an experienced associate in that section about 50% of the time and it seems like they are “out of stock” on a lot of things most all the time. I have made several purchases for my Bambu Lab Xiaowen 3D Printer only to discover that someone switched out the contents of the package for a cheaper item. I have been trying to buy a second Hardened Steel nozzle for my X1C and the first time it had the Stainless Steel print head inside the package and the second time (yesterday) it only had the silicone socks inside the bubble-wrapped bag. I live more than 40 miles from the store so it’s an 80 mile round trip each time and having to go back to get a refund costs me a lot more than loss of time.

    • @honda-s2k
      @honda-s2k 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      i agree 100% the store in columbus, ohio is junk. i am very unhappy with the columbus ohio store. employees in the maker section like the asian kid that is running that department are extremely unknowledgeable. they had no mk8 stainless steel nozzles in stock, back in october. also they wanted $54 for 1 nozzles. got a 5 pack of .5 stainless steel nozzles for amazon for $29.99. micro center has been the worst in store parts store i have ever shopped. i won't be going back. the inland filament brand is a joke, clogs like crazy. worst brand of filament i have ever used.

      Ender 3 V3 S1 Pro if you got the money is great for TPU, you could even go for the SE which is on sale for $160 right now! especially if youre going to do mostly tpu parts.
      The main difference is doing the higher temps stuff above TPU like PETG, which the S1 Pro can do at 300C degrees but the SE might struggle alittle at 260C.

      @@SethRamsay I can only advise from the perspective of owning a Kingroon KP3S, which only costs $139. If you buy the KP3S pro S1, with linear rails on x,y and z axis, you won’t be disappointed. It will be a great starting point. What you will find, is after some time, you will most likely just build yourself an Annex K3 and call it a day. Don’t buy machines that are under built, you will spend all your time tweaking the machine, instead of printing. Good luck

    I just bought two 3d printers from you guys within the last mouth. Got the Bambu Labs A1 Como and a Creality CR-10 Smart Pro. Bambu sucks by the way, zero customer support and if you buy a printer through a third party they treat you like a red-headed step-child and DON'T give you the filament membership.
    I go way back to 2016 with my 3D printing and started with a Creality CR-10 so I bet you can understand why I bought the new CR-10 from Creality. I just couldn't completely abandon my roots and become another Bambu fan boy and Bambu has zero customer support or care for it's customers. Try talking to their bot!!!!
