      I think it's fantastic although I would say the main dial should just have the one needle for revs, the speed one is not needed as people wil look at the digital one. I guess they wanted watch type two "hands" though, same for the power, you could just do one combined.

      I wish vehicle manufacturers would recognise that driving enthusiasts don't want complex, glitchy touchscreens. Just give us mechanical gauges. It wasn't broke, so there was no need to 'fix' it. Oh, and Elon; When the car has this much power, or even that of a Model 3, gauges need to be in front of the driver, not to the side buried within menus and sub menus.

      Looks cool but also looks impractical. Too low, for a start; driver has to divert eyes quite a long way downwards, perhaps when travelling at very high speed. And tiny instruments far too small to read, especially for Bugatti's older clientele who need reading glasses. I always think they should have a nonlinear speedo. This first half for 0-150, and the second half for up to 500. About two-thirds of the speedo reading will almost never be used.

    Going against trends is very difficult. But Bugatti are right; car interiors age very quickly. Technology ages very quickly. It's a stunningly beautiful car. The vents around the lights just look superb, the way it directs air. The V16, so rare. But those dials are just incredible; a timeless look.
    An interesting question is which one between this and the Gordon Murray Automotive T.50? Two cars that pull you in different directions.
    Why not add the Valkyrie into that question? Because as Alonso found out, it breaks down within an hour. If that was the only one I'd seen of that happening it would be one thing, but there's been many reports. Harry's Garage would need to add a four post lift and employ a few mechanics to test one!

    • @Buran01
      @Buran01 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Both the Valkyrie and the T50 are too noisy (the Valk is worst, of course). In f I had the money my choice would be the Tourbillon or a Jesko or Gemera. The Valkyrie, the AMG One, the Czinger 21C and the T.50 have superb performance but sacrifice too much comfort to be driven daily. The T50 in iddle sounds like a fighter jet, push a bit the gast and soulds like a spinning washer. The others are even worse, closer to a concrete mixer. In the Chiron and the Jesko you go from 100 to 300 in a snap and you barely hear the noise of the wind, the tires or even the engine: they are like being sit in a comfy, luxurious sofa in the living room of a mansion. Yes, a large motor revving is exciting, but check the Top Gear review of the Valkyrie in road: is less than 20 minutes, yet you can feel the start of a headache... Spent two weeks in those cars and your your ears will start to bleed...

    • @johnsim3722
      @johnsim3722 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Buran01 That the Valkyrie needs "cans" for the driver and passenger tells you it's not a road car. It's a track car with number plates; never going to be comfortable.
      T.50 videos I've seen it's ok inside. You're not wearing ear defenders! Unfortunately, the T.50 I was supposed to see running wasn't able to that day. Door catch problem apparently.
      As for the others, I couldn't say as I've not seen videos on them. The Tourbillion doesn't even exist yet in a car that can be driven; still a lot of development still to do.
