Oh, and Elon; When the car has this much power, or even that of a Model 3, gauges need to be in front of the driver, not to the side buried within menus and sub menus.
Looks cool but also looks impractical. Too low, for a start; driver has to divert eyes quite a long way downwards, perhaps when travelling at very high speed. And tiny instruments far too small to read, especially for Bugatti's older clientele who need reading glasses. I always think they should have a nonlinear speedo. This first half for 0-150, and the second half for up to 500. About two-thirds of the speedo reading will almost never be used.

The veyron was a great achievement but the Chiron is a real marvel. Its more art piece than a car because of the price and the attention this attracts.

It's a stunningly beautiful car. The vents around the lights just look superb, the way it directs air. The V16, so rare. But those dials are just incredible; a timeless look. An interesting question is which one between this and the Gordon Murray Automotive T.50? Two cars that pull you in different directions. Why not add the Valkyrie into that question? Because as Alonso found out, it breaks down within an hour. If that was the only one I'd seen of that happening it would be one thing, but there's been many reports. Harry's Garage would need to add a four post lift and employ a few mechanics to test one!
Both the Valkyrie and the T50 are too noisy (the Valk is worst, of course). In f I had the money my choice would be the Tourbillon or a Jesko or Gemera. The Valkyrie, the AMG One, the Czinger 21C and the T.50 have superb performance but sacrifice too much comfort to be driven daily. The T50 in iddle sounds like a fighter jet, push a bit the gast and soulds like a spinning washer. The others are even worse, closer to a concrete mixer. In the Chiron and the Jesko you go from 100 to 300 in a snap and you barely hear the noise of the wind, the tires or even the engine: they are like being sit in a comfy, luxurious sofa in the living room of a mansion. Yes, a large motor revving is exciting, but check the Top Gear review of the Valkyrie in road: is less than 20 minutes, yet you can feel the start of a headache... Spent two weeks in those cars and your your ears will start to bleed...
@@Buran01 That the Valkyrie needs "cans" for the driver and passenger tells you it's not a road car. It's a track car with number plates; never going to be comfortable. T.50 videos I've seen it's ok inside. You're not wearing ear defenders! Unfortunately, the T.50 I was supposed to see running wasn't able to that day. Door catch problem apparently. As for the others, I couldn't say as I've not seen videos on them. The Tourbillion doesn't even exist yet in a car that can be driven; still a lot of development still to do.
The fact that I'll never be able to have one doesn't make me appreciate it any less. I'll probably never go to the moon, but I still love the Apollo missions. I'm just happy that such things can exist and that very clever and dedicated people can express themselves by making it.

Do you want german flags in Rolls Royce or Lamborghinis? Ettore was Italian nationalized Fremch and the factory is placed in France in the original site were the legacy models were born. Also: the brakes are from Brembo, the electrical engines and battery systems from Rimac, the ICE from Coswroth, the analog cluster gauge from Switzerland, the 3D printed suspensions from Czinger.... 14:56 that dashboard cluster is just beautiful 😍
The front upper wishbone looks very similar to a chicken carcass..Bird archetcture is nothing if it is not strength combined with light weight !!!
A good observation and ditto point that! It sure looks organic. Interestingly enough it's AI designed...
@@oddvin31not exactly AI designed. It uses topography optimization generative design. Those softwares have been around for ages.
Nature always knows the solution. No screens, yes!
@@mattcobb3410 Oh....not being familiar to that tech I referred Harry. THX for correcting👍
Harry has a way of explaining in forensic detail the technical complexities of the Tourbillon whilst still expressing his admiration for the Bugatti engineers who have built this off the scale car .. Thankyou Harry for another presentational masterclass .
Absolutely stunning car. Not that it'll ever be a worry of mine, but I dread to think about maintenance or, worse, repair costs!
Pocket money for those who can afford
@@TheChannel1978 Very true indeed. But the figures will still be mind-boggling.
The absolute best Bugatti walkthrough Ive seen to date. The quality on this channel content creators should take note.
What a packaging masterclass by Bugatti
I absolutely adore watching Harry Geeking hard on the stuff he loves
Needs to stop referring to batteries as bat-trays though😂
😂😂😂 on the graphic of the the car accelerating up to 400kph, you can actually see the fuel level going down 😂😂😂
Honest graphic!
On the reflection is says 0 kmh. 👀
Came here to say the same. It was dropping like there was a hole in the tank.
4.167 L gone in 33 seconds (15:22 to 15:55). Keep driving like that and you'll empty the 100 L tank in another 12 minutes and 39 seconds! At today's petrol prices (for where I am), that's roughly AU$17 per minute. Not that you'll care if you can afford one of these.
Where is the gas gauge? I don’t see it
The veyron was a great achievement but the Chiron is a real marvel. Its more art piece than a car because of the price and the attention this attracts.
Those suspension wishbones were developed by Divergent Technologies, the company that owns Czinger.
Is that the same company doing me organic, almost alien, design for the previous generation brake calipers?
Thought it had something to do with Czinger, they've been working with AI design for a while now.
WOW , just total WOW , Funniest thing for me was when you showed the car accelerating ,(at 15.20) I watched the fuel gauge move down from 1/2 full to 1/3 full in such a short time. Amazing car , thanks for the tour and video.
The Tourbillon is so much better looking (inside and out) than the Veyron and Chiron. And that genuine naturally aspirated V16! This is the first modern era Bugatti since the EB110 of the 90s that has piqued my interest…in a big way! And I never thought that I would ever say that of a hybrid either.
piqued* your interest
@@prit04👍
As a brit, I am so proud that Cosworth is still going strong and is helping design some of the greatest engines of this decade. Such a small company could so easily go bust, and considering Britians history in management of automotive brands, it amazes me they are still working with the best in the industry. 🎉
It would be wonderful if the analogue clocks returned to motoring. Lets have a focus on driving pleasure and less infotainment
Indeed and less weight, so many cars are getting so heavy, even sports cars (to some extent).
@@DanielSadjadian It's still going to be around if not over 2 tons.
Sadly most modern driving is so dull the entertainment isn’t so daft, but I agree
Please make it so!
This Bugatti looks like the perfect synthesis of total aggression and ultimate luxury. I mean that front view is a total flex. And that interior...I believe that might be the best interior I've ever seen in any car.
8.3L V16 hybrid and *half-a-ton* lighter than the new BMW M5 !!
That new M5 is definitely a dud. I remember watching it at goodwood earlier this year and it was very underwhelming, no one seemed exited at all
@@RobertSmith-le8wpa tesla model 3 performance is probably faster than the new m5, the m5 saving grace is the interior
m5 is a family saloon not a supercar
@@XavierGoncalves89 That's like saying a LS swapped Camary is faster than a 992 Carrera S....who cares it's still a Camry. Teslas, in fact, are the new Camrys you the suburban moms drive them here in LA.
BMW should be ashamed
Loved to hear that you asked if they would be finally building a Right Hand Drive version.
Low probabilities since the extremely low production numbers.
Wow like the vid insert for the dials so realistic even the fuel gauge goes down. If money was no problem........
3:48 That painting is incredibly phallic and I can't unsee it...
When accountants are banished, good things happen.
Actually, when good accountants are banished, companies go bust and production ceases! (You're talking about poor accountants.)
When accountants are kept in their department and not allowed to run a company good things happen. It’s when they run companies that it all goes to shit.
@@Bob_Smith19 I told a friend of mine that Accountants can't run companies just before he started his first accounting job. 6 months later he understood why.
@@Bob_Smith19 You could also replace "accountants" with "marketing". Selling or telling the story has unfortunately has become more important than product in most of modern life, far more than just automotive.
@@Bob_Smith19 Some of the largest best-run companies in the UK (FTSE100 companies) have CEOs who are Chartered Accountants. Put your silly prejudices away. All professions (doctors, lawyers, architects) have poor members among them, as do accountants. But the best accountants really are business geniuses.
Best Tourbillon video. I look forward to seeing Harry rip through his favorite test roads in this beautiful car.
Cosworth is making EVERY engine of the moment. That's an impressive business feat.
I wonder how they "geared" up for that to be the case. Selling a sweet story to brands is one thing...did they already have the machine park to make this happen, or were they able to grow it and their staff as they secured these deals?
I love that the Cosworth name is back, and back straight to the top.
This is why we do it folks. Whatever branch of automotive you’re coming from, all borders down. Most of us come to this world as kids who enjoy the marvel of being propelled by a machine, and the ultimate machine is right here right now. Something else will come in the future, better and faster, but this is a snapshot in time. An absolutely glorious piece of equipment, and simply timeless.
I was a bit meh until I watched this video. What a piece of art that is. No screens to future proof it. Brilliant.
Only Harry can give such detailed and meaningful video for such pinnacle of automotive industry! Thank you Harry!
Goddam!! that interior is sublime 😍😛😎👌
You Shall Not take The LORD’S Name in Vain.
Kudos for the mechanical instrumentation, truly unique which is hard to find this day and age
Those dials are worth paying millions for. Wow
I'm totally speechless! What a superb piece of engineering excellence. The aero design, the sculptured carbon body and those clocks and steering wheel, are all simply magnificent. Car design at its very, very best. Thanks for the 'deep dive'.
Finally, a car to give the new Vauxhall Astra GS a run for it's money......
LOL😅
Wow, that is one beautiful cluster. I haven’t lusted over a gauge package so much since back in the days of the Zonda.

WOW, just WOW. Form, function, next level engineering and bloody beautiful. Brilliant presentation Harry, your enthusiasm is matched equally by this stunning work of art automobile. Merci Bugatti.

The production values are good but the cameraman needs a new image stabilizer. The follow through the room was a bit shaky, Bourne films style.
Wow I love the fact that as a 50 year old a car like the Tourbillon can excite me as much as when I first saw the Porsche 959 or a Ferrari F40 or Mclaren F1 for the first time. The attention to detail and design cues that hark back to Bugatti history is amazing. also I love the interior that has some of the brave design that Later TVR's were famous for but to the highest levels of material and quality. analogue gauges as well just wow. thanks for giving us a glimpse into this amazing car.
If Bugatti and Gordon Murray don’t see any merit in ditching the ICE just yet, then neither do I.
Your remark is noted.

I can never stop admiring that interior and the gauges, a breathtaking masterpiece. What I'm not certain is the centered wiper.🎉
The negatives : price , the wheels are horrendous on this one , the styling is off....Positives : V16 , interior very special , power and performance.....Good vid.
That’s the most beautiful supercar ever! Absolutely peak automotive design.

You too? Damn. We're very fortunate 😊 I'll spec mine in Nigerian racing... I'm not sure what colour that is, but it's invisible
The new Bugatti is wonderful and marvellous, but Harry arriving in a Countach is just magic. How a car from 1974, or in Harry's 1985, still is so stunning in such a place is amazing.

What a wonderful piece of automotive art and engineering. By comparison they are, but it makes the like of McLaren, Lamborghini.. even Ferrari look cheap.
I always respected the Veyron and Cheyron for the engineering and capability, but never looked at them with my jaw open.
This however...! It looks fantastic from every angle, every detail...and that interior. Well done Bugatti fighting the good fight.
It's annoying seeing French flags on that. It's a German owned company, Croation backed, with a British engine. I guess the French write the brochure
The men building the car are probably mostly French
@@ScapoloMichael if a Frenchman builds a Lego set it is still Danish
Do you want german flags in Rolls Royce or Lamborghinis? Ettore was Italian nationalized Fremch and the factory is placed in France in the original site were the legacy models were born. Also: the brakes are from Brembo, the electrical engines and battery systems from Rimac, the ICE from Coswroth, the analog cluster gauge from Switzerland, the 3D printed suspensions from Czinger.... They are just taking the best of the best in each field to fill a design developed and assembled in France. I think they have the right to display that flag despite not all being made in house as in a Koeningsegg.
It's just marketing bs. I'd say it's at least marginally less insulting than Chinese MGs plastered in union jacks
@@Buran01the Bugatti founded by Ettore and the Bugatti of today are connected only by name. The original Bugatti died in the 50s and the company that exists now was started in the 80s in Italy by a guy who bought the rights to the brand. The heritage of current Bugatti only goes back as far as the EB110
