The Bugatti Chiron replacement has finally been unveiled! Meet the Bugatti Tourbillon!
Mat’s flown over to France to get up close and personal with this all-new hypercar, and he’s being given a guided tour of it with Bugatti’s CEO, Mate Rimac!
So let’s check out what’s new compared to the Chiron. When it comes to the design, there are a whole lot of changes. It’s a brand-new car from the ground up, with no hints of Chiron remaining bar classic design cues such as the horseshoe grille and two-tone C-shape in the rear quarter. Around the back, there is an absolutely massive diffuser, coupled with a huge light bar that has the brand name built into the light. Along the side, the classic Chiron shape remains, while up front there are several vents, including ‘flying fenders’ which guide air under the headlights & around the side of the car.
Step inside and the design is classic Bugatti. The level of luxury is absolutely incredible, with absolutely no plastic to be found throughout. There are no visible screens anywhere, although a small screen will pop out of the dash to allow phone mirroring & the camera feed for the reversing camera. What’s more, there’s no digital driver display - the entire instrument cluster is analogue, with the gears that run fully visible. These are also framed by a gorgeous steering wheel which rotates around them. All-in-all, it looks absolutely stunning!
Then we get to the power unit. The W16 has been stripped out, and it’s been replaced with an incredible 8.3-litre naturally-aspirated V16! This is further supported by three electric motors, and they combine to produce 1,800hp and 2,300Nm! These work together to propel the Tourbillon to 62mph in less than 2 seconds, and it has a top speed of 277mph. Oh, and the V16 redlines at a fantastic 9,500rpm…
All in, the Tourbillon will come in at €3,800,000. So is it worth it? And more importantly, is it a worthy successor to the Chiron? You’ll need to stick with Mat and see for yourself!

Are we really seeing a new Bugatti get launched on Carwow
Launched it in every major channel
The new 911 was launched on Carwow too .Mat is the new Jeremy Clarkson
@@SteliosE92 some say Jeremy Clunkson got less fat and reincarnated as a Matt
@@SteliosE92 Good he got rid of that female partner he had a some years back.
Yeah and this channel got by far the most views out of all the channels that released the same video
To say I'm impressed with Bugatti is a COMPLETE UNDERSTATEMENT
What a man! I know men own a convenience store who are less humble. Matt, christian, Horacio and others are the gumvke genuises who will carry this generation through and will go down in history as legends.
Getting actual petrolheads as CEOs that understand what every billionaire's garage and every kid's wallpaper requires is epic.
Meanwhile Porsche: Goes electric > Still keeps the turbo without going n/a (easier to cope with regulations)
You're right, petrolheads and car enthusiasts are not in charge of motorsport companies anymore. They're just rather all in for numbers and marketing
@@Anti-FreedomD.P.R.ofSouthKoreaPorsche is a high volume production brand. Mate even said that the volume and mileage will be so low on these cars that it wouldn't even matter.

@@Lemingtona-x5g he IS NOT EV guy!!! Educate yourself on a guy first....
watched quite a few videos on this car, and this is the best one. What makes it especially good is your relationship with Mate.
Matt is such a good interviewer, it was so enjoyable to listen to the two of them just talk about the car
Cheers Mat,Mate Rimac is a seriously cool car guy I hope you enjoyed interviewing him about the Tourbillon
The last stand of analog dashboards. I just love it. Analog better in every way.
holy shit that steering wheel + the instrument "panel" are fucking AWESOME
uhm yeah? that's the point? that's literally the purpose of the car, to look and feel "awesome" so people will buy it Lol
Citroen did this steering wheel in 2005, awesome still?
@@HollowR6S It is approximately one million times more beautiful than the Citroen. Still amazing for me.
@@HollowR6Syeah and?
Nobody cares +nobody said they did it first+this one is piece of art. Please don't be like this people lol@@HollowR6S
Engineers make great CEO’s. When you know what you’re selling, and are genuinely involved in the development you can achieve amazing things.
100% Agree, you have exactly the same feeling with Christian Von Koenigsegg. To have a CEO who can actually answer random questions about a car, is a huge selling point in that market.
he Electric guy so good when it comes to EV
Its crazy how this car let look the Chiron like an very old 90ies car!!!! Increadble work!!!
