My observation about classes, if anyone interested. Tailor is pretty useless, unless it's multiplayer roleplaying. Only bonus is more advanced repair kits for clothes, and it's pretty much it. Yes, they can craft special items that you can trade, but it's really not worth it. Clockworker is another support class, however it still can be used in singleplayer, although it only gives bonuses in late game, and if one choses to explore temporal technology. Malefactor may sound as an interesting pick, but it's quite hard to get advantage of it's abilities in single player. It can boost you a little in the very beginning, but becomes almost useless later on. This leaves us with Hunter, Blackguard and Commoner. All of them are strong picks for singleplayer depending on the playstyle. Although Blackguard can be somewhat difficult too feed in early game, but if you play the game right, food becomes abundant quite early in the progression.
I'm a little late to the party seeing this, but just chiming in with Tailor being useless being an inaccurate take for anyone else that happens to see this. Unless you're playing without class-restricted crafting, Tailor unlocks the Tailored Gambeson set - which is not only much cheaper to produce than most other sets of armor are (once you get farming up and running, anyways) it also outperforms every other suit of armor in terms of protection offered except for plate armor and steel armor of any variety, while offering some of the smallest overall stat penalties in the entire game. Getting easy and affordable access to what is arguably the best suit of armor in the pre-steel era game makes Tailor a VERY solid choice considering that the only massive drawback tailors get is a very small health penalty.
@@aaron8342 Dude..... In this game.... Even a stone will kill you... So having a nice outfit just makes it easier for you to become the prey of some wild animal.....
Hey loving the vids whatched a couple of your terracraft and got me to start playing that modpack and been having fun with that then I saw vintage story that is kinda a game based on the modpack from what I heard and now im planing on buying vintage story tomorrow looking forward to it.
I think wolf taming is not yet implemented without mods. Only way you can obtain wolf pup is buy it from a trader, and the only thing you can do to it is sell it.
Yea, something planned for the future. I read that if you place the pup you can buy it becomes a wild pup and there is nothing you can do with it (for now). Will be nice when it is added.
Rea;;y? It is one of my favorite things so far. For me, it really brings the immersion to another level and is a great activity on nights where the temporal stability is too high to safely roam.
@@TheSunnyTrails it isn't the same people, they saw terrafirmacraft and decided to make their own mod like it, vintagecraft but after realising how much easier it was to make their own game they decided to. Terrafirmacraft is still being updated, at the moment a 1.20.1 version just released
I'd heard that rumor too, though it is not quite right. If I understand it correctly, the devs of VS were going to do a minecraft mod, but decided to make their own game from scratch instead, though they were inspired by TFC.
not terrafirma, but another mod very similar to it(vintagecraft). I believe Tyron(VS's creator) also worked on a MC server, but left the project because of opposing views for the development.

Thank you for the class breakdown. Hopefully it helps anyone new to the game.

@@willdigforfood5065 That is useful information, thank you.
you call having the ability to make yourself look pretty "useless"???

Pro tip. Don't cuddle with bears
But they are so warm and soft 😅
Minor correction, bits on the surface *guarantee* a vein underneath, you just might have to dig around and find it

I love how casually you jump out and swim across that deep abyss 😅 I have extreme thalassophobia
I want a fire smoke system like Valheim. More games should take that idea, ha.
I've never played Valheim, i'd have to watch a video to see how their smoke system works.
@@arcwolfgaming Ooo, definitely check it out!
The pollution mod in terrafirmacraft hardrock is similar, but also a bit more dangerous
Ngl, the knapping and clay crafting would probably drive me nuts before long.
Apparently I was doing it the least efficient way possible, which I guess it to be expected jumping into the game blind.
Knapping and clay crafting is mostly used in early game, later you use different methods.
There are a couple of mods that remove the clay crafting making it much more manageable!

@@fuzzyeagles Hehe everyone likes different things in games!
Nice video, excited to watch more! Been taking a break from the game but now I might start a new world :-]
you should increase the bitrare in videos cause it makes it a lot clearer adn less granier when moving
Oh damn that wolf really wanted your kill spooky
it´s kind of a mix of terrafirmacraft and oblivion
Haha, I can see that, so long as I don't have to worry about Sheogorath playing tricks on me.
This game started as terra firma craft. It’s the same people. Oblivion? No idea where you get that idea

Hello there. When you move the camera in game, it tends to loose picture quality. When you stand still it’s 1440p. Just a heads up !
Yup, thank you. Recorded this over a year ago and have made adjustments to bitrate, and etc. when recording.
setting spawn is done using temporal gears
Let's gooo
This is really Minecraft 2:vintage story.
I love the videos, but man, that music from 86 (the anime) is really killing the mood. I'm having to play music over the video to stop the feels :(
I have adjusted the level since then, so it's a bit softer in the background. But I love the song, so had to include it.
Maybe its a rumor idk but i do believe the creator of terrafirma worked on vintage story

That doesn't seem like a blind playthrough
