Oh it's definitely cool, though it may get annoying after a while. I often end up turning down ambient sounds in games, as the constant repeating sounds tend to give me migraines (think constant gusting wind, or helicopter blades on a loop).
You want the prospecting pick as your third copper item (ie pick - hammer - pro pick) You need the anvil to forge the saw, and the anvil is quite expensive!
I’m definitely getting this game once it’s gone through a few more updates and once I get a computer that can run it! It looks gorgeous, and the gameplay seems entertaining. Thank you for treating us to this! Love your vids!
you cant make a knife before the anvil...3rd thing to make after hammer/pick is the anvil and ingots so you can the saw all of the "old inventory container" can be placed on the ground...some can be "un-made" in crafting mats
Not sure I understand. Vintage Story is not a Minecraft mod if that is what you were thinking, it is it's own game that has been in development for about 7 years. Though I hear it is at least somewhat inspired by TerraFirmaCraft.
The player is a “seraph”-which is NOT an abbreviation of “seraphim”, an order of the Heavenly angelic host-who is a survivor of the Rot that attacked this world. (Only have a minute amount of lore knowledge, so could be wrong about player’s seraph being a Rot survivor.)
I live how this was randomly recommended to me, and now I'm completely obsessed with Vintage Story
Check out Rhadamant's play though too. He stream and then breaks them up into 40ish min episodes on youtube. He is new to the game too.
@@arcwolfgaming Thanks a bunch! Your videos are really nice to watch, shame It doesn't get much recognition yet.
@@DaydreamsOfSleeplessNights Thank you. Yea everything takes time i'll get there eventually :D
I love that every armor in the game makes it's own distinct noise when moving.

You should also mark the resin trees on the map because it will grow more so you don't want to chop them down😊
Not a bad idea, was thinking of placing a fence around them to remind me not to cut them down.
I dont have looked til the end but please press F if you do the clay thing to use a bigger Voxel-thing. Thats way faster ☺️
I did not know that. Thank you, will try it out on the next clay item.
We all had to learn the F thing the hard way haha. Pure torture watching the single voxel clay working.
@@seangranite3781 It's a right of passage in Vintage Story.
If you see horsetail plants, then you are in wolf territory. 😳 And you might also run into a bear. 😬
Did not know that connection, thank you

Yup, was chatting on the VS discord and was highly recommended to make the ProPick as the 3rd tool.
i dont bother with pro picks til i seeking iron maybe tin if its being elusive

You are very welcome! and thank you.
Ya the scenery can be breathtaking. Can't wait to get more amazing screenshots for thumbnails.
I recommend jumping in. Even what is already there is great! This has quickly become my favorite game.
@@paaph8747 Does it run on MacBook?
You're gonna need to chop down a lot of trees, to make charcoal out of firewood by burying it beneath the dirt and lighting it on fire.
Thanks for the heads up. I'm going to have to make sure I collect a lot of tree seeds so I don't deforest the area since I made trees grow slower.

When laying clay (and also when doing metal working, chiselling, and other stuffs), you can press F to switch your tool. It's very helpful.
Perfect timing!
General Kenobi 0:00
Kenobi was always my favorite character from Star Wars.
This looks like such a cool mod. Except for that avatar. That thing....
