@@jamesfriesen9633 Haha! Love a good word choice debate! You are absolutely correct, but so am I. Federal Regulations 393.40 (c) requires a parking break. Part (e) requires an emergency break. (E)(2) says they can be the same thing. And that’s what most manufacturers do. Call it what you will, but when a hydraulic break line pops and the breaks fail, I’m reaching for the emergency break….because it’s an emergency. But to appease the “Parker’s” out there I’ll give it a spot in the title.

What if I have an issue that the emergency break does not stay engaged? Should I still not just tighten the slack?
