Love this! I practiced yoga for years on and off without grasping the concept of breathing. Then I started taking breathwork classes and somehow it all clicked. Yoga is so much more joyful now. Thank you!!
Wow, a rare first on the first. I do not believe I have done this one before. Quite nice to slow down the flow. I had just been thinking yesterday during practice that my breath was not in sync again, and here we are today! Flow day 1. 574 days in a row with Adriene.
I love time traveling & checking out some of these oldies with baby Adrienne, I’m pretty sure this is from before her vocal surgeries, it’s funny to hear her speak words she commonly says, but it sounds like it’s coming from someone that sorta sounds like her. Really excited this was chosen for May 1st. A great video to review the connection btwn moving & breathing!

Woke up before dawn, and worry set in, my kids, my life, my friends life, the whole world! Into the day like a dream walker, long walk with the puppy, training, lunch, tired ,and it’s hot hot hot, then decided to continue the day around 2:00pm, starting with yoga. Feeling I’m gaining a bit of perspective and balance….always a positive for my day. Thank you, Adriene❤️
Well that was definitely a flowing yoga practice. I struggled with my breath at the beginning, but half way through it got easier to breath, and move. This was a lovely yoga practice, thank you Adriene. Once again you have given me exactly what I needed, I don't know how you do it, but you always do. Get To Know, June 2, 2024. I think the way early days of yoga me, would have sighed in annoyance and frustration having to sit through a fundamentals session. Admittedly, I did get a little antsy at points. But I have grown to appreciate getting back to basics and slowing down to work out a few beginning poses. Flow, Day 1. 18 days in a row for me. As a dancer, I really enjoy fluid movement, so naturally flow practices are my favourites and I'm super excited for a full month of them🥳♥️
FLOW 🪷 | May 1, 2022 | Hello May and hello Flow! I don't remember doing this practice before, but wow, it was sooo good! I love the theme of flow, and I think the foundation of marrying movement to breath and breath to movement is so important, and so easy to forget! I love it when Adriene reminds us like this, to synchronize the two. When I get that right, my practice feels so much more connected, deep and grounding. My intention is to keep this in mind through all the flow sessions this month! 🙏🧘♀
Yay!! Flow has been a big theme and reflection point for me in the past few months, so I'm super excited about the May '22 FLOW calendar. I had a few fierce and startled tears of joy when I read at the end of the calendar description: "Set your intention. This calendar is designed to make it accessible and easy to commit! The hardest part is showing up. Take on the whole month, or drop in as often as possible. / You can and you will. / Quietly whisper, I am in FLOW." So good! As always, thank you Adriene! FLOW day #1 a great start for me. I think I had tried this practice last year or before and given up but today having established a daily yoga practice since MOVE this year, I completed this and even managed the breath. I feel goood! currently moving (or *flowing*) through my first breakup. life really does throw unexpected obstacles exactly when you don't expect them, but also a little bit when you exactly expect them. currently relearning the importance of my boundaries and really knowing my worth and the effort & love I deserve. finding peace and ease in this messy time. yoga is, and has always been, the very best medicine and is the place that guides me back home, to my center within myself, and I am forever grateful. this practice was a great way to remember the importance of slowing down and finding that synchronicity between movement and breath. oh how healing and welcoming it can be. for anyone else going through similar pain as me, hang in there. we're in this together. everything's gonna be alright. keep going and embrace the challenges. live, in whatever way you can today. much love
I just accepted a job several states away, so I'm super happy with this months theme. Hopefully it'll be a reminder to trust in myself and my breath, listen to my body, and go with the flow. This beginners practice that I've somehow never seen, was a nice return to basics when everything feels like it's going every direction at once :)

Begin August 2022 - that was brilliant. I've just started back to yoga this month and, as still a relative beginner anyway, this was so informative of how to build that breath with the movement. I'm the type to worry when I'm behind and also forget to breathe when im struggling so this was great. I also did the best cobra I have in a while by listening to the advice in this video. Love these playlists because you give us chances to see gems like this. 😊💞

SEEK 🦉 | September 28, 2023 | It's been over a year since we did this anything but basic practice. I'm coming on the mat a little later in the day than usual today, so I thoroughly enjoyed returning to my breath and matching it with my movement. This is an almost hypnotic practice, going slow and steady, gathering up the scattered focus and bringing it inward. 🙏

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this. I have been doing Yoga with Adriene since 2019 summer and never encountered this one so far! I love the careful explanations of all the synchronizing with breath and motion. I feel I improved my classic moves even more! Adriene ❤ you are beautiful always ☮💗
I have tried many times over the decades to get into a yoga practice, with no success. But thanks, Adrienne! I have finally done it. Just graduated from 30 Days of Yoga and I can finally say I have established a daily practice, doing what feels good!
Circling back to the mat after a few days break (this has been happening to me a lot recently). It was a little difficult for me to move so slowly, my mind kept going elsewhere (or my breaths were just not long enough for the entire movement). That initial cobra repetition was hard work!
There are times I’ve struggled with this too, I know it’s kind of a cheat, but I put the video on 1.25x which was still slow for some but I was able to complete it without beating myself up the entire time.
FLOW Day 1, There is always a fresh feeling when the breath catches the moving mucles. The lovely voice of Adriene cheering us : ) Love you all, Namaste

I am addicted to your videos, Adriene. Been a runner for months, and I was looking for something to calm me down, as my workouts has always been fast and crazy. This is what I need. I suffer from PCO, and I am hoping I am going to be able to get healthy soon, so we could start a family with my husband. During the practices with you I can literally feel how my body is getting better and better, how my organs start to work properly, I do hope I am helping my ovaries as well. Thank you so much for your videos, please never stop.
Just finished my last final as an undergrad. Yoga has really helped me through the more difficult times and transitions in my life. This practice gave me a restorative workout if that makes sense. So calming on my frazzled brain, cheers!

I was worried that my body, all achy from a week’s worth of 10-12 hour work days, was not going to keep up with whatever this new month’s calendar threw at me. I shouldn’t have fretted! This was perfect for tired little me today, as it had all the encouragement and slow movement coupled with the stretches and downward dogs that I craved. You’re magic! I say it every month but it’s true!!! Can’t wait for you to carry me through another busy month with deep breathing, patience and love. Day 12 of the March calendar, going back to basics is good. A quick but positive reminder of such an essential part of our practice. I always try hard to match my breath to each movement because if I don’t it doesn’t flow. I notice how much more I get from my practice if I get the breathing right and it’s so much more fun ! Loved this flow - allowed me to refine these basic moves and felt, even if it was just in my mind, graceful and flexible. Beauty of doing these videos on your own you can be anything you want - with all the added reminders to breathe and place yourself for safety and ease.

I used to think doing yoga would be boring or just be the same thing over and over, but you make doing yoga fun; and the time always seems to fly by. I've been doing the 30 days of yoga (I just finished day 26!) and some days i add on another one of your videos for a little extra workout. You keep me motivated, make me want to keep improving, and have me looking forward to hopping on the mat! (which is a big deal after a long day of work!) So THANK YOU for being so awesome!

It was perfect as usual. I needed to slow down. Its'a always good when sometimes you back to basics. Like a fresh breath of air. Pleasant sensation of peace that flows through the body. It's Monday and I've come home from work in despair. Hard day at work and I received some devastating news. My head was foggy have felt out of body. This has allowed me to take time for myself at the end of the day. Seperate the day from my evening and get myself back into the present. Things don't feel so hopeless as they did 20 minutes ago. And I feel grateful for that.
It's so rewarding to find progress in your practice. I remember when breathing was the most difficult thing to do. Moving with it was foreign. This video has shown me how far I've come over the last few years. Namaste!
I loved this, simple and gentle and very nice to look deeply at the basics. I'm following the year imperfectly so I'm only now arriving to May in November but somehow the timing is perfect to arrive to flow in the moment in time for me.

SEEK 🦉 | September 28, 2023 | It's been over a year since we did this anything but basic practice. I'm coming on the mat a little later in the day than usual today, so I thoroughly enjoyed returning to my breath and matching it with my movement. This is an almost hypnotic practice, going slow and steady, gathering up the scattered focus and bringing it inward. 🙏

I enjoyed practicing the basics again. At some point we get so used to do the movements fast. It’s important to reset and be mindful.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this. I have been doing Yoga with Adriene since 2019 summer and never encountered this one so far! I love the careful explanations of all the synchronizing with breath and motion. I feel I improved my classic moves even more! Adriene ❤ you are beautiful always ☮💗

I have tried many times over the decades to get into a yoga practice, with no success. But thanks, Adrienne! I have finally done it. Just graduated from 30 Days of Yoga and I can finally say I have established a daily practice, doing what feels good!
New flow let's go! 😄 I fell a bit out of it and missed several days here and there, but now I aim to mark off every single day! 😄
Circling back to the mat after a few days break (this has been happening to me a lot recently). It was a little difficult for me to move so slowly, my mind kept going elsewhere (or my breaths were just not long enough for the entire movement). That initial cobra repetition was hard work!
There are times I’ve struggled with this too, I know it’s kind of a cheat, but I put the video on 1.25x which was still slow for some but I was able to complete it without beating myself up the entire time.

I am addicted to your videos, Adriene. Been a runner for months, and I was looking for something to calm me down, as my workouts has always been fast and crazy. This is what I need. I suffer from PCO, and I am hoping I am going to be able to get healthy soon, so we could start a family with my husband. During the practices with you I can literally feel how my body is getting better and better, how my organs start to work properly, I do hope I am helping my ovaries as well. Thank you so much for your videos, please never stop.

Just finished my last final as an undergrad. Yoga has really helped me through the more difficult times and transitions in my life. This practice gave me a restorative workout if that makes sense. So calming on my frazzled brain, cheers!

I was worried that my body, all achy from a week’s worth of 10-12 hour work days, was not going to keep up with whatever this new month’s calendar threw at me. I shouldn’t have fretted! This was perfect for tired little me today, as it had all the encouragement and slow movement coupled with the stretches and downward dogs that I craved. You’re magic! I say it every month but it’s true!!! Can’t wait for you to carry me through another busy month with deep breathing, patience and love. I’m so ready to catch that wave and surf it to my heart’s content!

Day 12 of the March calendar, going back to basics is good. A quick but positive reminder of such an essential part of our practice. I always try hard to match my breath to each movement because if I don’t it doesn’t flow. I notice how much more I get from my practice if I get the breathing right and it’s so much more fun ! Loved this flow - allowed me to refine these basic moves and felt, even if it was just in my mind, graceful and flexible. Beauty of doing these videos on your own you can be anything you want - with all the added reminders to breathe and place yourself for safety and ease.
This was amazing! It ended too soon. Flows have become my favorite, so I'm excited to go through this month of FLOW! It was really yummy to slow down and be so mindful in the flow. Thanks for taking me back to the basics! ♥

I used to think doing yoga would be boring or just be the same thing over and over, but you make doing yoga fun; and the time always seems to fly by. I've been doing the 30 days of yoga (I just finished day 26!) and some days i add on another one of your videos for a little extra workout. You keep me motivated, make me want to keep improving, and have me looking forward to hopping on the mat! (which is a big deal after a long day of work!) So THANK YOU for being so awesome!

It was perfect as usual. I needed to slow down. Its'a always good when sometimes you back to basics. Like a fresh breath of air. Pleasant sensation of peace that flows through the body. I did a full week of your original Yoga for Beginners video, and have now moved on to day 1 of 7 for this video practice! Have to say much more challenging for a first time yogi but I'm always up for a good challenge! Love it, keep up the good work!

It's Monday and I've come home from work in despair. Hard day at work and I received some devastating news. My head was foggy have felt out of body. This has allowed me to take time for myself at the end of the day. Seperate the day from my evening and get myself back into the present. Things don't feel so hopeless as they did 20 minutes ago. And I feel grateful for that.
This was so good. Now we flow into May. Enjoy your 1st of May ❤️🙏

It's so rewarding to find progress in your practice. I remember when breathing was the most difficult thing to do. Moving with it was foreign. This video has shown me how far I've come over the last few years. Namaste!
I loved this, simple and gentle and very nice to look deeply at the basics. I'm following the year imperfectly so I'm only now arriving to May in November but somehow the timing is perfect to arrive to flow in the moment in time for me.
