I’m still scared of eating carbs during my weight loss 🙈 We all grew up with this rule low carbs or no carbs at all to loose weight but I find that it’s not sustainable for me. I binge after one month the latest. Thank you so much for your advices. They really help me. I have one question. What is your opinion about drinking a protein shake just before going to sleep? As a 13 year old that’s 5’3 and 155 pounds I’m doing 1,500 calorie deficit. I did it today and i feel pretty good. I’m also trying to do grow with joes workouts every day expect Wednesday my break day.

Hey Maria! You might be doing trying a deficit way too low. Figure out your maintenance first and go slow from there, this way will be easier to maintain, you definitely don’t want to be in that much of a deficit it’s affecting sleep ❤
@@Maria-sd8oj just don’t think abt cal that much at first if you think its hard. You should change the way you eat in daily like food recomposition (more protein and fibre and maintain or decrease CBH a lil by lil)
I tried intuitive eating too but that didn't work for me either. I ended up eating too much calories. Like with nuts and avocado. So for nuts I know now that I should only eat about 10 and I think a 1/4 avocado per day. Adjustments like that really count I think. 🤗🥑🥜🌰

I know the comment it's for her but if you have already built a good relationship with food... Weighing isn't a big deal. There are ppl who just started in fitness and they are clueless in calories counting, macros and weighing the food is the only way they can assure not being over or under eating. I personally thought I was eating too much and turns out I was eating too little. I have to weigh and track my macros in order to be healthy.
@@rutmarybucarito5621 I agree, you should be careful with it, but I don't think it's necessarily unhealthy. I personally find that kind of lifestyle horrific and I could never, but everyone has their preferences

How about a crockpot recipe? What's the ratio or berries to milk for your night time smoothie? Do you make any with cottage cheese in place of yogurt?
I am always scared to introduce a deficit because usually when i cut even 200 cals it worsens my insomnia and then i binged the next day. Any tips?:(

@@OliviaJarvis unfortunately it happens even with 100-200 cals deficit :( co eg 1900 cals instead of 2100(maintenance)

you can use eggs, dairy products (like skyr), tofu, legumes (like chickpeas, beans etc) as a protein source :)
