What's a good memory you have playing Metal Gear?
My favorite series of all time, I have some serious appreciation for each entry, but... When MGS4 came out I remember sitting down with my whole family and watched my dad play through the entire thing. To be honest it's one of the last untainted happy memories I have of my dad. I cry every time I hear love song.

My favorite memory has been a recent one only. During Phantom Pain the more you kill soldiers during a mission the more you become demon and ultimately be covered in blood all over with a horn on head. Pretty good huh? The actual shocker Kojima put is in The Truth mission where Venom Snake plays operation intrude n313 after completely listening to which he looks into the mirrors and it shows him becoming Demon again , and we all can guess that why? Because Now Big Boss has commanded Venom Snake through that cassette that he would let Solid Snake destroy the OuterHeaven(logo behind on the wall) leading to complete destruction of all his army, recruits, personnel , pretty much everything and that Venom Snake would be the one to make this mission successful for solid Snake, Yeap that's right that's the biggest evil sin of all Venom has to do for Big Boss so he is seeing the Demon look of himself in the mirror However! 😮 He breaks that glass to see himself as the Phantom Venom Snake which big boss has made him which is far more superior to his purpose of life than judging himself for everything he shouldn't do to see himself being a Demon in the mirror. Ahhh! I know that's very strange and hard to process and digest it down but...ummm It's actually The Truth and it's Pretty Good 👍🏼

Metal gear solid was one of those games that blew everyone’s mind when it was released.
The cinematic style, unique characters and a great story in a 3D environment.
Never had this been seen before on a home games console.
If you were not alive when MGS was released, you’ll never know how truly “game changing” (because there’s two discs) it truly was.
Due to it’s success, it is directly responsible for the creation of another great sneaking/ spy series that I love, SPLINTER CELL
I missed the initial hype as Mgs2 was my first. Would have loved to experience it in 1998
@@WesDoesGames I was only 10 years old when it came out and when I first played it at my friends house, his dad was a technology wizard for the time and so he had access to hundreds of bootleg discs 😂.
MGS 1 was a Xmas gift that year from my parents as I wouldn’t shut up about it. I ended up having to tell my friend, Meryl’s codec frequency because he never had the case. (I still own it, to this day)

I enjoyed your vid, but the part about switching controller port being the "only" way to defeat Psyco Mantis is incorrect. You can break the heads of the statues at either sides of the room to make him vulnerable. Even without breaking the statues, he does not dodge every bullet, so it's possible to also 'brute force' him as it were.

Actually I wonder why nobody is thinking about the way how Solid Snake smuggled his cigarette's on Shadow Moses Island! I mean of course the NANOMACHINES suppressed his stomach acid, and Snake thought himself "hmm, nothing would be better to have a good smoke later on the Island, when I destroyed the Metal Gear. And maybe it could come up in handy anyway"! And then he goes to swallow a hole package of cigarettes, and puke it out later on the battlefield.....!?...... really.......!?
