What do you think about other options in this size/price. Some people say that GPS place isn't optimal, some drones have it on top of the front part of the frame like on a stand.(your thought about it?)
Have you found what xas wrong with the pids or filters ? I get the same wobbles since upgrading to betaflight 4.4+ i have the analog version that feels locked in as you said but the digital one is not, i tried disabling the yaw filtering , and it looks better but not perfect yet , i also decreased filtering a little, i wonder if you found something else maybe

Hi, i just got back to flying again n bought this same drone but with walksnail and crsfr. I updated the beta 3.9 to 4.4 on the f4 fc and reinstalled the original file, not the “dump all” but the “diff all” that i saved from the drone. Dont know what i did wrong but i have no stick inputs, im thinking if it would be easier if i could find someone to share the CLI file n paste in CLI? Btw im not good with computers n finally getting back to fpv after 2 years, was using analog before that, any help is appreciated
If you do PID tuning, could you drop your tube. I have the HD and getting rid of that wobble would be great
I also wanted to get rid of wobble, and found this video with pids and rates "Modifications & Tunes | Flywoo Explorer LR 4 O3". It helped me a lot, the drone became much more stable
Woble is from bi-blade props. Tri blades can be tuned to get rid of woble

Looking at buying this or building a long range 7" 03, like the one in your other video, ive never flown or owned a 7" quad, or a flywoo explorer, which would be the better choice?
A 7" inch is large and expensive , if you have a 5 inch then its not that much different except more efficient for long flight, but if you are looking for very long flight without really expensive gear you can opt for the explorer as is can use your 4s batteries from 5" or less, and can go as far as a 7", and can fly as long with li-ion batteries

I wouldn't recommend doing freestyle with a Li-Ion

Apparently Pattyflipz FPV has a solid tune for this drone. Haven’t tried it yet though!
I thought the 250g limit didn't include the batteries or payload cameras riding on the drones back.
I don't really want anything that big so I never checked the rules.
the 250g limit is looking at liftoff weight, so this includes the battery and any cameras.
Mine came with an ND4 filter
Does that DJI airunit have built-in remote id + DJI dronetrac, kill, etc?? I hope so. I'd hate to ever have the authorities not be in complete control of what I'm doing.

I'm new to drones but does 17 to 20 minutes fly time seem short?
Usually 5" drones with 4s or 6s lipos batteries can get from 2-4 to 4-8 minutes top, but this particular drone beeing very efficient with li ion batteries made to last longer with less power output can make it last 20minutes+ it is actually quite long, and also flies longer with lipos
2:29 Might just be grounded to the frame by touching it/ being smashed against it. Carbon does conduct. How well this would actually work I question.. but technically speaking..
I'm probably going to take the drone apart soon just to see what they did lol.
I'll report back, but good call. I could totally see that potentially being what they did.
Took it apart last night to check and the shielding isn’t connected to the FC at all. It looks like they are just grounding it to the frame.
Really not sure how effective it is though lol.

Possibly, I kept the air unit in the settings that flywoo sent it with 👍
flying in the mountains below a bunch of trees is fun and all but very risky. can you imagine if the drone were drop, probably impossible to get to it. I love flying in the mountains but man.... fucken risky as fuck.
long range FPV is risky, but luckily long range drones like this have GPS return home. So in the event that the failsafe is due to your radio-link, the drone will still be able to fly back to you.
If the failsafe happens due to a loose prop or wire or something, then yea, there's no recovering that lol.

@@TRONCATFPV yeah I’m talking about a loose prop or motor malfunction, esc, or flight controller issue. If it drops while over those huge amount of trees, just not possible to recover. But yeah, it’s all about risk
