    I fly this thing with 850mah lipo, I feel its the best middle ground for power and range. the 4s Lilo cell feels too heavy and weak and if something went wrong I don't feel like you'd have the power to come out of it; especially if you are carrying an action camera 50-100g with the lilo would be really heavy, it "can" carry them, but don't.
    I run a run cam thumb 4k with the 850mah gets an easy 10 minutes with plenty of room to spare, and I have the extra power to weight when its needed.

    It’s funny, the same happened to my quad. I guess it’s from Flywoo. I was packaging shrink wrap, cause the DJi antenna to bend to the right. I’ve been trying to straighten it out by putting it in an opposite direction with weight. It seems to help a little bit, but I get annoyed seeing the right bend on it. I wonder if it would affect range or performance in bed.

    • @CAPTAINDRONE798
      @CAPTAINDRONE798  ปีที่แล้ว

      FPV goggles are for the FPV Drone hobby. The BUGS drone is what is called a GPS position hold CAMERA DRONE. It is not in the FPV hobby. Almost every drone on the market with GPS built in for the purpose of stability (i.e., you can let go of the joysticks and it remains in place in flight) is not an FPV drone and FPV goggles do not exist for such drones.

    • @CAPTAINDRONE798
      @CAPTAINDRONE798  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      What you see/record in goggles (digital) is usually 720p... some may do 1080p at shorter range. No such thing as a consumer set of goggles showing 4K (at a reasonable price) for the simple reason that the Bandwidth to get a 4K signal with low latency at a distance, is very expensive tech.

      Yes, but ensure they are indeed for the V2 Goggles (only) as the V1 goggles use a simpler communication design and many antennas on the market at a good price are for the V1 Goggles. Also be aware that FPV drones are designed for line of sight at range, so if you fly and your head is looking not directly at the drone or something is between you and the drone, you're not gonna get much range.

      In the FPV hobby there are no limitations in the drones since they are pretty much hot rods. Fly as fast as you wish, as high as you wish, as far as you wish. Of course you do this all within the regulations set by your country.

    Nice to see a lot of snow you have. Could you advice if this drone is good for flying in the mountains along the ridges, I guess I will need 3 to 5 km range. I’m flying DJI mavics but here in EU we have signal power restriction and I’m loosing connection about 2km. I’m new to fpv do I need to purchase DJI Googles and DJI remote separately, do they sell them separately? Thanks, hopefully we get more snow in the Alps , cheers Ed

    • @CAPTAINDRONE798

      Flying in mountains means you need plenty of lift, and great signal. I am not familiar with the EU signal reduction and range so I can't help there. Yes, in the FPV hobby, you buy any gear you wish. There are some beginner FPV drones that sell everything you need in a box, but this is not one of those.

    • @CAPTAINDRONE798

      Probably an issue with PROPWASH (weight of drone, angle of attack, speed at which motors adjust, etc). You could tune it out in the PID settings but then you'd probably just inject another unwanted issue in normal flight.

      When you get into similar sized drones (prop size) and those with and without prop guards, they are all very similar. So if you have a 2.5" drone with no prop guards vs another one using the same camera system, results will be similar and the same is true if the drone is a cinewhoop with prop guards. Eventually they have similarities that are within the same realm that makes them difficult to pick one from the other.

      Every year I fly all winter long and have never had a problem. Just follow this advice: If you land in the snow or crash in the snow, you have to unplug the battery and remove all the snow before it melts. As soon as snow melts into water, then you have the potential to damage your electronics.

  • @bobgraton854

      I hear this often from newbies to BETAFLIGHT CONFIGURATOR. Normally the people that always do it are those that come from the Camera Drone hobby (like DJI Mavics) because they are used to always updating the firmware. The fix will require that you contact FLYWOO for a DUMP file, or perhaps they have on on their website for the explorer. Once you have the file, you then use the CLI Tab in BETAFLIGHT to load it. Just do a search for any TH-cam video showing how to load a DUMP file in the CLI Tab.
