Nice review! I been wanting to get a O3 air unit. I normally build my stuff but after watching Nick Burns, MoeFPV, Rimzler, you and a couple others I dicided to get the flylens 85. It’s a fun quad, tune from factory is good out of the box and the O3 a/u is sweet. This things flys so good! Probably gonna be my most flown quad now.
This video was very entertaining and alone for this presentation you deserve so much more views and abos, keep up the good work. I purchased one after your review!

nice review and nice place to fly! hope i can fly there. anyway about the light reflection on the filter, try to put black tape on the top of the camera, or somewhere there. it also happen to the first generation of gopro naked (hero 6).
I fly a Volador 2 for my 5” and just ordered a Flylens 85 for a practice drone. I’m putting a Walksnail HD Avatar Pro camera system in it but I’m going to strip it first to save 10-15 grams.
@@danyacatSO2 The only weak point is the bottom cage that holds the VTX but spares are less than $2 and you can also just 3d print your own. With that said, still very durable!
great video @lionel! You just rocked this quad freestyle like a boss. Question - did you reach out to flywoo about the reflections and what filter did you have on? I just purchased this for play (freestyle) and cinematic where that reflection would not be good. Thx for sharing man! Oh yeah, you rocked the cinematic flight (imo) as well even though you were bored. :)
I'm a total noob at this.. so you need FPV googles.. can those be used by someone who wears glasses? Are they super pricey? Does this thing take a long time to set up with calibrating the compass, setting a homepoint etc? Or you can just turn it on and fly? What kind of battery and transmission range does it have? Does it have restrictions like won't go above 120 meters and that kind of thing? Sorry for so many questions but it looks like an incredible device, hopefully without the DJI headaches?
Same here. I fly my pavo20 (3s) for the same reasons lionellttl does. I bought a pico (2s) and have been disappointed from the performance. Now the flylens85 (2s) promises to deliver pavo20 (3s) fun. Maybe I will give flywoo a shot to take advantage of my 2s LiPos. Otherwise they will probably end up at storage charge for eternity.😅
@@LarsEchterhoff i find that the pavo pico v2 in 2s is really only a good whoop when walksnail is the VTX. O3 is too heavy for the pavo pico if you ask me. The 20 is dead on for the 03!

the analog version of this quad is the goat. the dji version is just a little too heavy, and a tinywhoop isn't really worth installing a VTX that costs more than the rest of the quad. great little yard ripping racer.
Well yeah the cost can feel ridiculous for a tiny quad like this but to each its own. Someone out there might find value in this with an O3. Thank goodness I’ve that influencer money(zero dollars and zero cents) 😂😂🥲

Thanks for stopping by. Well I was flying really slowly in the cinematic flight and I was using the 750mah battery. So the weight reduction could've impacted the flight time. Hope this helps

I use crossfire and I think that in the 85 version the o3 camera is much more protected... Let me know your opinion and which one you would buy today.
I would get the 85mm just because the larger prop size gives it more strength against the wind if its outdoors. 75mm would be better if you're only flying indoors but maybe watch the reviews from other reviewers like Nick Burns to get an idea

Hello. Very great review! In the future I plan to get the analog version of flylens. Kinda difficult choice between 85 or 75, and I just found that Flylens 85 analog has a mounting for action cam, while flylens 75 dont. My question is, from your experience in flywoo quad, what do you think is flylens 75 analog designed for? @@lionelttl I see, maybe. I also just realized that jello also could be seen on analog feed, with that frame stifness and rubber dampener it will be jello free.
I value you and your opinion. Firstly I try and test the quads as received with the manufacturer’s tune so that viewers would know what they would receive if they buy it. Secondly, I used to believe that any quad can fly well with a good tune however I stand corrected as badly designed quads + good tune can’t compete with a good quad + good tune. One example is that a noisy quad would require more filtering and thus adds more phase delay, making the pids slower to react when tracking your stick movement. So when I say that it goes where I point it to, I mean to say that the stick tracking feels very locked, more than I would expect on a micro that’s carrying an O3 like this and is still one of the best quads I’ve owned. But yes a good tune makes any quad fly well.
You say it’s the best quote ever and then you say it’s too lite, but if you look at the thing, it’s just a frame with motors there’s no protection for the camera, then you had protection for the camera and and you wind up with something like the Pavo pico.
I’m trying to get what you mean but yes it’s the best tinywhoop that can carry an O3. It’s too light compared to a normal 5” O3 quads I normally fly but that’s a given at a quad this size. But I would take this over any of the other Pavo, meteors or cinewhoop style o3 quads out there as they don’t fly well with the added weight.
