Great review! Do you have any idea if the radio will work on a simulator by just plugging it into the computer? I feel like for some of these kits for people just starting out that should be a necessity
@@sksoyeb0303the goggles should work with any analog drone and controller with any elrs drone. Also the controller only connects to computers through Bluetooth not the type c port.
I am would like to start FPV but I have some other projects I need to finish first. I like the idea of a cheap drone and start up kit, they look lite and crash tolerant. How much do you need to spend to get something less flickery?
Thanks for the review. I am new to FPV (have some quad experience with small but not FPV) looking at some starter kits. Would you recommend this over a BetaFPV Cetus X? Thanks
@TRONCATFPV how would you trim this drone or controller if off take off it drifts forward and left extremely hard impossible to hover. Also how to play with it in betalfight and update fc, elrs, etc.
I saw on the website that its default flight mode is mode is angle. Do I need to install more flight modes on beta flight to get acro or does that also come pre installed?
You got my like but I don’t get why Captain Drone video image review of this came out more clearly and he even flew outside from inside his home. Make me 🤔.
@@TRONCATFPV Yes he used the walksnail with the analog attached. He wears glasses so that’s is why he had to do that. Thanks for making clear and thanks for answering eve though it’s an old video.
Good catch, looks like they have it advertised as a 200mw on their site but OSD is showing 250. I would assume its 200mw and just mis-typed in the VTX config
For what you pay they're pretty good :-) mine have a tiny bit of stick drift in the SIM after about 50hrs of use and 7 months, but that doesn't bother at all in real life flying
I’m looking into buying this kit but the site has noreviews and is from the uk, I don’t have anything wrong with the uk but I don’t like that it’s from another country. Has anyone bought from the website and how was the experience? Can I trust it?
Their site is trustworthy 👍, I don't think it has any reviews yet because its such a new kit. If you're more comfortable ordering from a vendor in the US, RDQ recently got this kit in stock: bit.ly/3pOb1KV
Good idea but the wrong quad. I have one of these and the flight times you get on a 530mah 1s is rubbish. Compared to any other tiny whoop it's not good value, you will have to buy batteries that will only fit this quad as not many others take that wide of a cell with a gnb connector, it's too heavy, flies like a brick and isn't as robust as you might think due to the extra weight compared to a traditional tiny whoop.
Why didn't you show the DVR footage, you know DVR, thing thing many whoops have had since 2015, the thing an obviously $300+ priced kit would come with. Oh wait.
Thanks for the thorough review. You explained aux switches 2, 3, 4. Information I found nowhere else.
It made me happy, that goggles and controller could be used with other (my future) fpv drones)
Thanks!
Hey bro - I cant enter the joystick mode by pressing 2 buttons as per manual. U have any tip please?? Have you used thisRC for simulator?

Same question for me
And i have another question, Can we use Goggle and the controller to fly other drones

@@bubbles0o what he said!!
What is the beta flight mode? What is that cable for that fits to drone.
Good video bud!
I have a question, to start in this world, which Kit do you recommend? This one (Whoopfly16) or the Aquila16?
Cheers!!!
between those two i'd go with the Whoopfly16 personally 👍
Thanks bro!
And as a first Drone kit, in that price range, do you also recommend the Whoopfly?@@TRONCATFPV

Personally, I like this over the Cetus X. The tune on the drone is awesome in comparison. Plus I like the controller a little bit more 🙌

@@RimCheck you can recalibrate the potentiometer in the betaflight onscreen menu right on your tx/goggles when your drone is unarmed
How to deepfry your eyes, is Analog always like this?
This is what analog FPV feed looks like. You can get higher-resolution cameras but will always be similar quality.
Hi there! Great review! I was curious which you’d recommend between the Sub250 Whoopfly RTF and the Emax Tinyhawk 3 Plus RTF?
Do you have any plan to review the aquila 16 RTF product from beta fpv?
😉 hoping to have my review on that kit out this weekend!
🤗😁
With the charger do you connect it to an outlet? Or its better to connect ir to a computer/laptop
Everything works. It even works on a mobile phone with an OTA cable :-D

Looks like GepRC Tinygo 😅 the googles and the radio look like the same. Interesting..
It's exactly the same stuff (newest versions) rebranded. The remote even connects to the Tinyradio PC tool
i bought one of these and it worked for about 3 days, broke and never worked again. never got a replacement
I really like that you get an ELRS radio with this kit, rather than Frsky D8 like my eMax. Also, is the VTX actually 250mW? I saw 250 on the OSD.

I think it's ufl for the vtx antenna
I’m curious, is it possible to attach a large screen tv to the goggles via cable?
Only has input, not output :-/
I’m kinda wanting to get one but I’m just wondering
That’s a sweet looking kit. Can you use that control for simulators?
simulators can be connected using bluetooth
Yes, via Bluetooth

Yes, they're interoperable as fast as i know
So is the video choppy because this is a beginner type drone? I think the video quality that this has would be very off putting to a new pilot.
The video is choppy because this is an analog video system, for higher quality video you can go with DJI/Walksnail/HDZero
Mostly on the DVR footage, not on the goggles :-) the image on the goggles is quite a bit better
whoopfly 16 or aquila 16?
Whoopfly 16 easily
