i really don't agree with ur review here. The ford everest is a far more advanced suv with good power, luxury and technology. We get wat we pay for right? The everest just drives so well. The kind of level its achieved in ride and handling department is outstanding for an suv of tat size. And it is also slightly bigger in size where u will end up sitting in a much wider and rommier cabin than the toyota. And also in other markets the everest has managed to outsell its competition and a class above i.e prado. thank you.

New fortuner in India does not comes with Sunroof. Boot space of Endeavour/ Everest is miles ahead, just fold the seats, middle or rear, and you will know there is no match. Endeavour has got more power. Ride quality of Endeavour is far better than fortuner. Fortuner back lights look good. But all in all Endeavour / Everest is better.

Gents, I suggest you re-visit some of your comments. You are punting the Fortuner's value for money. It is no longer R30k cheaper!!! Also a dangerous statement to make as you do get discounts from dealerships. Busy buying a Everest and it is actually R10k cheaper than the Fortuner, after discount from both dealerships. I truly believe your review is biased towards Toyota. I drove both these vehicles and I really dont see how you came to this conclusion. Yes, the Fortuner will probably have the better resale value in a couple of years but only because of biased reviews like yours and the other reviews you published from CAR magazine!!! Shame on you. PS - Value for money must include your insurance you have to pay on the vehicle and good luck finding it cheaper on a Fortuner !!!

It wasn't only the on air presenters that felt the Fortuner just pipped the Everest, the majority of our journos in the office agreed too. It was not by much - they are very closely matched but for us the Fortuner is just better value (in South Africa)
