Common cause of Sony tv T-con board failure

This is the third Sony I am working on with a bad tcon board, all three had the same tape that has been used, all three had oil residue on the back side that makes contact with the tape, I am no electrical engineer but oil/fluid on live circuits = no good.

That's silicone from the heatsink pad. Released by heat. Very inert and normal. Silicone is completely nonconductive. Computer video cards all have that residue from heat and function perfectly. The bad board is just a high failure part with inadequate cooling. A bad design with a designed in failure rate. Sells new TVs.

NOBODY SELLING NEW TCON. IF YOU BUY IN EBAY IS COMING IN BAD CONDITION AND THE SAME CHINA. (TO CHINA AND HERE YOU NEED TO PAY FOR RETURN. IS BETTER TO BUY NEW TELEVISION. THE TEACHER ON TH-cam TAKING ABOUT TV 10 AND 15 YEARS OLD.
