Thanks for the video and taking time to make it I have the Sony Bravia purchased in 2005, Kdl-46s2010 and I just replaced the TCon Board thanks to your video. I could not figure out how to remove ribbons would of for sure ripped em if i didn't watch your vid. Thanks again. MY TV WORKS now I can get TEN MORE YEARS out of it .... I hope.

Great video, our 2007 Sony KDL 40X 2000 had re solaraisation/shadow on screen. Having watched your video it gave me an idea where to look, I bought the T-Con board for £15 delivered, the T-Con board on my TV needed part of the chassis lifting up out of the way, a real pain, but it works great now after being plugged in for 10 seconds, initially the red solarisation was there then it corrected, the old T-Con board had a oily staining on part of it
Any suggestions for a Sony 40Z4100 T-CON Board that has a damaged contact on the ribbon cable attached to the right side of the board? How do I go about accessing them to replace?
surely there was heatsink compound required here somewhere? you never turned the board over to look under it. why did you reassemble it before you tested it?

En algunos modelos, la placa que esta enjaulada, o encerrada debajo de una jaula de metal llega a averiarse por alcanzar un componente de ella mucha temperatura.
Esa jaula, se puede abrir por la parte superior favoreciendo con ello la mejor aireación de ese componente que se deteriora por alcanzar bastante alta temperatura. En climas y paises calidos se consigue una mayor duración de esa placa abriendo la parte superior del blindaje metalico para favorecer la circulacion de aire y refrigerar dicho componente, excesivamente encerrado en esa jaula metalica.
una pregunta como se remplaza una tarjeta t-con con el flex adherido a la pantalla? ya que este no tiene como acoplarse y desacoplarse. no se si me explico..
Hi , I have a Sony KDL-52Z5100. (purchased 2010) I get horizontal lines only on the bottom part of the screen when i turn the TV on. ( about 6 inch,the rest of the screen is fine)this last for 10 to 20 min. and then disappear . Would the T-Con Board solve the issue. your answer would be appreciated . great videos Thanks, T

@@rainiervaz100 the best thing to do is to open the existing TV up locate the T-Con board and look for the part number on there then search eBay for that.
