Can we agree that Ben, Brendan, Ivan and Zac is one of the best final 4 ever in a Bachelorette season? I think they may even surpass Rachel's (Bryan, Peter, Eric, Dean).
I wish we got a cast like this more often... Unfortunately I think the pandemic created a unique situation where men with actual careers could take a few weeks off without it being a big deal. It's definitely going to be a downgrade next bachelorette when we go back to a cast of personal trainers, former NFL, etc.
@@bethanymclean2136 That's not to say that some careers are more valuable and make anyone else more suitable/serious for the show. A personal trainer (like Ben) or a former NFL player can be just as serious about finding love on the show as people with other jobs.

@@paulojrneto I understand that, and obviously there are exceptions. But within any career if you're far along/serious about it, taking a month or so (however long filming takes) off usually isn't encouraged. The pandemic created a situation where that was more viable.
It really annoyed me when Kenny was like "7 guys went home that night because you cried to Tayshia" no Kenny, you and those guys went home because Tayshia didn't feel a strong enough connection with you to keep you around, nothing more nothing less.

the cries felt more like guilty cries. she feels bad that she has to breakup with both of them and has to take on emotional conversations back to back. as evidenced in her explanation to riley she phrased the breakup as a favour to him which absolves her of the guilt she’s feeling. and the guilt isn’t gone so she’s sobbing.
“absolves her or guilt” is EXACTLY the phrase i would use. i felt so uncomfy watching that.
She was TOTALLY not that upset about Blake and maybe even Riley... It was definitely more catharsis and a heavy realization about the pressure and direness of the situation. We all need a good cry now and then but I can’t imagine the stress she feels from having to move so quickly.

Probably feeling some guilt too. Like anyone still around has expectations and she obviously can't meet all of those expectations but she HAS to keep 6 guys around until now so I bet she feels like she led them on even though she didn't because that's the way this show is.

Yoseif is the kind of guy I encourage people to avoid, its okay to call out your partner or have disagreements. But it should never cross into disrespect. Claire wasn't a saint, but he escalated things. For me I don't want a partner to escalate things in a heated discussion I think points and concerns can be addressed in a calm and mature discussion. No need to raise voices or get nasty. That's just my preference I'm sure other people have their opinions and if we disagree okay.
I agree, as personally I think his concerns about the date were fine as everyone is allowed an opinion. However the way he expressed his opinion was wrong and disgusting, and the fact he didn’t realise anything was wrong with how he spoke to Clare is another reason why people should avoid people like him.
Agree 100%. When he said he would be ok with a guy calling out his daughter the same way, i was so done. I want everyone to find love but in this case i hope he never finds anyone.

I feel that Tayshia has a big heart, and so everytime she sends these men home she feels their pain as well. Also I think she was genuinely very great friends with all the men left, so saying goodbye was just difficult anyways, even if they didn't have enough romantic chemistry.
Yosef had some solid points but they should have been directed at the producers NOT Claire. He definitely should have spoken more respectfully and not yelled. I really think he was just getting frustrated with his lack of chemistry with Claire and took it out on her and used the dodgeball date as an excuse-he wasn’t even on the date lol.
I also heard a rumor that he was bragging that he was going on to be the villain. Which makes sense because he went from making great points to being an ass real quick.

I'm fairly new to the franchise, but is it just me or has it gone from being open about sexuality and sometimes problematic to just gross and exploitive real fast this season? I know it's reality TV but the Blake stuff wasn't cool. Strip dodgeball wasn't cool. Blake seemed to think it was edited out and looked really uncomfortable for a second before he tried to laugh it off and move on quickly. Has there ever been a contestant who said in their ITM that going home naked was humiliating (strip dodgeball), complain they have to be exposed multiple times later, and then the producers decided to show something intimate? Again...I'm newish to the franchise, but it seems over the line possibly and shouldn't be brushed over this season? Maybe?

I think this episode show the differences between tayshia and Clare as bachelorettes and as persons in general. Tayshia feels so guilty for having to send these guys home. Clare wouldn’t even hesitate at all.

The Noah/Bennett drama feels like it boils down to the two of them being very different people. Noah seems a little immature but didn’t do anything wrong. Bennett seems like he’s privileged but he’s also significantly older and could see why Noah would irk him. It all just get producer driven. 🤷🏻♀️

Tayshia has handled herself so well throughout. I really don't have any of the usual criticisms of her. She explains how she feels, she always seems to be respectful of the guys and tells them what she appreciates about them: just a great showing, or at least an S-tier edit.
