Religion being a deal-breaker should absolutely not reflect negatively on Ivan or Tayshia in any way. Both have rights to their own beliefs, and whether they want to be in a relationship that shares them

Exactly!! As a Christian I wouldn't marry a non christian either simply because for me I make every decision from a religious perspective and they might not. But at the same time I wouldn't hold anyone not religious in a negative way because I know we don't believe the same things so we don't see things the same way and that is fine and normal!

i think tayshia is now one of my favorite bachelorettes. she handled every situation well and she actually picked a good guy in the end

She was definitely one of the most courteous bachelorettes I’ve ever seen. She didn’t play around with their feelings and genuinely felt bad when she sent them home.
I think Tayshia really showed her grace and maturity this season by giving some of the last few guys a proper break up.
Instead of getting their hopes up and then dumping them in a rose ceremony, I really enjoyed watching her taking them to the side and giving them a proper explanation before a rose ceremony.
Very honourable of her to end it with Blake before the dinner part, dump Riley before the rose ceremony, and then the same with Ivan and Ben.
She really took control of her season and showed these guys respect
Yup. It’s always extremely uncomfortable when one of the guys gives a speech and goes to lower down and then the bachelorette goes “wait Jack...” and like pulls them back up to tell them she’s picking someone else
100% agree! Ben didn't have to go chose an engagement ring, and build up that anticipation to propose. She allowed him to save those moments for when he finds who he will marry and I love that so much.
I think Tayshia definitely made the right choice. All season long, she and Zac have just seemed to be leagues ahead of everyone else and his proposal was so sweet, I was literally in tears.

honestly Zac was the only one, at least that was shown, who said he loved Tayshia for her qualities and her character and strengths. Not just that he loved her for how she made him feel, which is how it felt with basically all of the others.

some men displayed their love for Taysha's qualities but they were sent home early. Also, the production and editing team probably have an effect on what shows up on the screen.

omygosh i've been saying THE SAME EXACT thing! True love isn't loving how someone makes you feel, it's about loving them for who they are. And Zac loves Tayshia for who she is. So beautiful. (versus Ben who said "i love how you make me feel" all the time)
I honestly loved how Tayshia didn’t just string the other guys along for the “regular bachelorette format”. She didn’t wait to tell Ben or Ivan on the very last day. She knew in her heart that it was Zac without a question. 💖
I can't say that Zac was ever my favorite, but it's clear that he and Tayshia really love each other, and that proposal was ridiculously cute. I wish them the best.

I’m glad she sent Ivan home when she did. I don’t understand why everyone thought she was going to pick him. He’s a great guy but it was pretty obvious there wasn’t much chemistry between them and they were more like friends. I was actually shocked he made it as far as he did.

I just watched them on Good morning America, they look great and happy.
They’ve done a ton of interviews that are already up on TH-cam, so it totally gives lots of great closure and more insight into their relationship.
The downside to AFR is the runner ups and their sad words to the leads. I rather focus on Tayshia and Zach

FYI, “good trouble” was John Lewis’s catchphrase. He was arrested during the Civil Rights movement and always encouraged ruffling feathers for the right reasons. He passed away in July, so it might have a double meaning for Tayshia :)

You know when a girl is superhappy when she is looking at her man after he has just proposed and she is crying and kissing him BEFORE she even looks at the ring and puts it on because this shit is not important :D 11:20 - you can pay attention. I speak from experience as a newly engaged lucky gal :D Her emotions are very real and beautiful. Also, Zack with her parents acts like she told him exactly what to do :D :D :D

Here, each man got to have a personal, private conversation with Tayshia to talk through the break up and say their goodbyes and it just felt so much more loving and authentic

Sara Abdelrahim - Oh, for sure...one commenter said, "He shouldn't be drinking on the show" w/o a scintilla of evidence that he ever was!!! Some people also described Ben as being "too risky" because of his suicide attempts as if everyone whose ever had "issues" can never be trusted, can never move on or find love or find happiness as if they're just so much damaged goods. No one knows any of these people personally and judging them is cruel and unfair.
Taysia is the most mature, classy, grounded bachelor OR bachelorette. I love her!!! Totally forgot that Claire was ever even there.

Good and interesting drama, an amazing lead, genuine guys, and a focus on love, relationships, and serious issues, 2020 issues aside this season can easily go down as one of the best seasons.
I'm so glad the person who spoiled it for me 6 weeks ago only got it half right. He said that Zac would win and it wouldnt work out. I'm glad to wake up today and see them do the morning show circuit and it actually worked!

Honestly an “in defense of Clare” video could be interesting. Or “in defense of Clare and dale.” I see a lot of negative comments about them, and while most of it is lighthearted, it could still be interesting to see a defense video for them. While her part of the season was certainly problematic, I think it has kinda become a meme to hate on them and some of it is undeserved.
This was probably the most wholesome Bachelor/ette ending I've ever seen/felt! I am soo so so happy for Tayshia and Zac. This is too sweet 😭😭😭😭😭❤❤❤
In multiple previews earlier in season you can see Tysha's dad saying "There is something off about him". It didn't come up during guys meet to her family.
The producers clearly did some serious chopping & editing the family meetings, so much so that at first it wasn't clear whether her dad was saying "don't pick Ben," "don't pick Zac," or just "you don't have to rush and do this (i.e., don't get engaged)." And as you said, we didn't get to hear some of the dad's feedback that was shown in previews.
I wish we'd been shown the moments when Tayshia and her mom spoke (I'm certain that happened) or at least her sit-down with the whole family after each meeting.

Don't complain that Tayshia didn't get a full season or an AFR. Just appreciate that all the winding roads led to this beautiful ending.
Now THIS is the ending we needed after what happened with Claire.. we were all looking like clowns back then watching Claire act like a kindergarten kid who just saw a shining new toy
okay but criticizing Claire for falling in love with Dale and getting engaged so fast and giving a pass to Tayshia for doing the same is also wrong. Clearly Tayshia had her favourite too since several men who left before hometowns said she'd pick Zac. Maybe that's not as fast as Clare but it's still fast.
I personally think this season gave us two beautiful proposals, that Claire got a really bad edit and Tayshia was edited to seem way more confused and unsure of who to pick than what she actually was.

I think she was protecting the editing of the show to match the order in which they showed events.
I believe she dumped Ben after talking to her Dad first because of her voice over concern about what her dad said during her date with Zac. If she had her date with Zac first, she wouldn't have said what she said because she hadn't have talked to her Dad yet.
Either that or they asked her to do the voice over after the fact to match up how they were presenting the scenes.
HERE I GO BLUBBERING LIKE A WHALE AGAIN. I’m so glad Tayshia found her love story. I loved Zac he’s so perfect for her. One of the best seasons! But I’m glad you noticed the part where T was wearing the same outfit to breakup with Ben. That’s why she felt that way in the beginning of her date with Zac. I’m so pleased!!!!

Another conspiracy theory, but what if the conversation with her dad was actually after sending Ben home? Hence her reaction when someone knocks at the door? (she might be thinking it's Ben once again). Her dad probably didn't know this but the conversation left Taysha with a wall up for her date with Zach. On the actual date she probably was figuring out whether Zach and her were ready for an engagement and so on.
That could make sense especially her response when he knocked on the door...was she thinking like “is it Ben again?”
When everybody put the dress theories out there I thought maybe 1)she sent Ben home
2) her dad came and basically told her hey you don't have to get engaged if you're not ready
3) that threw her off and her date with Zac
4) the way Zac handled it reassured her
5) the proposal!!
I had the same thought! When I was watching it live, I was so confused why she had such a negative reaction to hearing a knock at the door (and then an extra positive/relieved one upon seeing her dad!). And then I saw her outfit on Ben’s date and the wheels started turning. It would make much more sense if her dad came *after* she broke up with Ben and therefore she was worried Ben had come back *again*

This was the first Bachelor/Bachelorette season I've watched in full-thanks to the epic sleuthing on your part, which I watched to see it come to fruition, and I gotta say I thoroughly enjoyed Tayshia's season. A great lead, great group of guys, minimal spotlight on the drama, more focus on the love stories, and I rooted for Zac from the start and he made it! Happy tears indeed!

That was the best proposal on the show ever. She’s my favorite bachelorette too.
I love how they just forgot about the ring for a minute. usually the guy puts the ring on while on his knee but they were just so wrapped up in each other they forgot. this was an amazing proposal!
One thing I really liked about the engagement is that she wasn’t preoccupied with the ring right after he proposed, but instead kissed him and hugged him first. In other proposals, the girls seem all about the ring and not the guy.
These past episodes did Ivan so dirty. That poor guy deserved better, in my opinion.
That fantasy suite date?! They worked hard to make it unsexy - possibly even anti-sexy - as compared with Tayshia and Zac's steamy explorations. And that crammed, janky trailer...🙄🙄

When you look at Tayshia's outfit when she's speaking to her Dad and when she's speaking with Ben, it's the same outfit. This can definitely solidify the whole, 'she dumped Ben first and then her Dad came which is why she had the 🙄🙄 reaction."
