When the mod 3 debutted it was around $60,0000 for the top line models , today you can get a mod3P(Trimotor) for mucn less than that, not to mention it is much moe improved and probably very few things in common except the looks. Tesla giving you much bang💥 for your Buck💲🤑...😊
Inflation adjusted my buddies 78k new loaded 2018 model 3p would be near 6 figures in today's dollars. It still runs 0-60mph in 3.1s per dragy and gets close to 300 miles combined on a single charge and over 260 hwy miles per charge. 😎
The Model 3P is NOT trimotor. It's dual motor.

In my opinion this model 3 performance is just the best value performance car ever. It’s so fast, and from everything I heard it’s incredibly stable and comfortable and other the fact that it has somewhat smaller range (I would have preferred to have a wltp of 600)I see no negative about this car. It’s just amazing. I even like the interior although I would have loved to see a small screen in front of the driver

If you can't see why the price of these evs is falling then your walking around with your eyes shut. Tesla can't make it's factories pay it has layed off nearly half it's workforce. Why because no one wants EVs . Mercedes BMW ford Toyota nissan Chevrolet jaguar land rover and most other big car companies have announced they are reverting back to internal combustion engines for the foreseeable future because the sales of EVs has fallen off a cliff. Even world Govts have scrapped net zero aims because no one is buying into the EV crap
We can buy this in Europe. I love this car at the pricepoint. The price difference compared to the long range is minimal.

I just need the 1200hp Roadster with AWS, steer by wire, 48v, under 4,000lbs. We all have different needs.

As of 6th May, the new Model 3 Performance is £60k in the UK. I love Tesla cars & have bought 4 now but, I'm not buying any more until UK pricing is no longer such a rip-off

Or 25k in Sep 2020 dollars when it was finally revealed under a chart as a coming someday soon product for battery day?
Either way it's gonna be over 25k msrp or it will be a severely nerfed product vs the 3&Y at 50kwhs pack size we already have seen as the target, 220 miles range as the 3 was originally slated to get for 35k, so a CHEAPER weaker rwd only trim, no standard heated stuff, no glass roofs, no towing, no autopilot standard etc. But even at 30k with half the tax credit so around 26k it'll sell like crazy imo outside America anyway. 👍🏻
Its coming - its only been a few years - and they are optimizing their current line up while releasing the Cyber Truck and the Semi as well as massive updates to FSD.

People complain that Tesla price cuts wherever they can, but they forget that those price cuts are then used to make the cars cheaper. I consistently seen Tesla continue to lower the prices of all their vehicles as time goes by which is unheard of in the automotive industry, especially as the vehicles get better and better and better

Just checked the Tesla China website, the top of the range cost $71468 not $46000. The new change in Chinese cars now is AI assistant driving and communication, one big step up then Tesla, laser and MmWave sensors more common, the safety get really good, Tesla is falling behind already.

If states were serious about reducing pollution they could eliminate sales/registration tax on zero emission cars. They could also improve the infrastructure by selling it, privatize. People who own infrastructure offered for use must maintain it to compete and keep it sate. It's self-regulating because those who fail, fall, and are replaced by those who do act responsibly, unlike govt. bureaucrats who "fail upwards", get promoted, while taxpayers get punished. It’s incorrect to assume they are underestimating the performance of the car. The “motors” may have a higher percentage of power capabilities BUT the batteries don’t. It doesn’t matter if the motor is possibly more powerful IF the battery can’t put that power to use. I gaurantee Model 3 will all use the Chinese battery you’ve talked about that has more power and is NOT limited to 80% recharge for longevity. What they are producing now is ONLY to put something out while they wait for the model Y Juniper. And at that time Model 3 will convert over to that much better battery

I'm sorry to say EVs are not the future yet. Hybrids will eventually fill the gap until the infrastructure gap and battery technology improve. That will take at least 10 years, assuming countries can keep ploughing hundreds of billions into the project. Most are bankrupt in any real definition, so it is just unsustainable. War will definitely screw even that timetable.
