    Please help! I can’t make up my mind. I just bought a Mac Studio should be delivered in a week. I’m coming from an all in one mac. I’d get the Apple display but I want a screen that’s atleast 32in-40in. My budget is $800ish. And yes I make TH-cam vids, well I’m teaching myself 😁

      What resolution do you want for the display?

    Keyboards, I've spent well over $1000 on them and have always come back to the normal Magic Keyboard. Touch ID is awesome but it is also quieter. Nuphy Halo 75 is a close second.

      LOL... Same... I am loving this logitech keybnoard right now... It's taken some getting use to with the higher stance and more travel compared to the Magic Keyboard.. I haven't tried the one with the touch ID. I may have to try it.. Thanks for the comment!

      @@TheAppleHelpline Thanks for the videos! Love the channel. My wife enjoys the Magic Keyboard more than me since it is quieter and she can nap while I work.

    What are your thoughts about the Qwiizlab USB C Hub with Dual Drive Enclosure, Docking Station for Mac Studio Mac Mini M2/M1/Intel, Type-C 10Gbps, Card Readers 100MB/s, Fits M.2 NVMe NGFF SSD & 2.5'' SATA SSD (Silver)

      It's a nice little extension for adding more ports to the Mac Studio.. Even better for the Mac Mini's since they don't have and SD card slot. The only issue I see is the transfer speeds for the SSD enclosures. If you plan on accessing files to work on the 10Gbps could be a bottle neck. I did a video on a 40 Gbps external drive and a hub that handles faster speeds. However, if you aren't doing anything like that and just want to add more storage and have it look super clean and convenient then it's a good choice. There are so many of these from companies just make sure you read the reviews and make sure it's not a disaster. Good thing with Amazon is you can always return it.

    Wow, that Samsung monitor you recommend has gone *up* quite a bit in price 7 months later!

    I have an M2 Mac mini pro on order. I'm looking for a monitor to go with it. I need a 27" monitor with adjustable height and speakers, and possibly web cam capabilities. I don't know anything about monitors. Anything you'd recommend?

    Do you have a comparison video m2 MacBook Pro versus m2 Mac mini pro? I have been using my iPad Pro

      I don't have one.... I wish i could afford to pickup multiple machines... Maybe one day... There are some other really good channels who I think have those comparisons

    Mac Mini Thunderbolt 4 port is backward compatible only with USB 3.1 Gen 2 (up to 10Gb/s), hence using SSD Samsung T7 which USB 3.2 Gen 2 gives max transfer rate about 1250 MB/s which is way lower comparing to "slow" Mini M2 base, with single channel 256 GB, and over 2x slower than Mini M2 512 GB! In order to get data transfers similar to internal drive you need costly Thunderbolt 4 external drive case (up to 40Gb/s), with speedy NVMe SSD inside, like Samsung 980 PRO. My advice, forget SSD Samsung T7 and earn more money for right purchase.

      It's still not a bad speed for editing most content.. I just wanted to keep the options in a certain budget since many people might not want to spend another 300-400 bucks after spending so much already..Thank you so much for the info!!
      I have a video coming out next week to cover much more expensive options that might include some Thunderbolt 4. 😉

    Is it OK to stick a magnet to the mac mini??

    • @TheAppleHelpline
      @TheAppleHelpline  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      On older machines with HDD you could have issues depending on the magnet strength.. now a days.. it’s got nothing that it should interfere with… obviously you don’t want to go and put a high strength magnet on it.. but the little one on the card reader should be fine
