IBM sold out, HP bought Compaq and then quit.
Leading Edge failed to lead.
Michael Dell came in as the weak manufacturers died out, and started building kit computers for the second generation.
But at every move, Apple has been criticized by people who make their money selling on the Windows platform.
They grew and grew and grew; but they’re still being attacked.
Why?
@@staideysstudio4637 I used to do tech support for a mobile network and phones are so behind Android and they lie to the customers by saying the have a 8 year warranty in the UK it is 12 months and I even had to use there own website against them when one of there store management had a argument with me over the phone until I directed the customer to website and embrassed him .

The cross crates avoid which allows for suction just like plaster when you're using tiles.

Great video. If you really want to investigate how many different types of screws a manufacturer can put into a product, go work on any mid-1980's GM product. Have fun :P
Also, in terms of commodities: the extra dollar spent on a different color of PCB equates to a huge reduction in profit per production run. As my dad told me (he was a machinist) by using the same part on a dozen different products, even a small company can make an extra million dollars per year.
If you push a million products, a price reduction of 1 dollar adds up to quite a lot

oh yeah you are right, it was set for drilling. Luckily it was set on faster gear so it means less torque
As long as the springs were not completely compressed, the correct tension will be set automatically. That's why the springs exist in the first place.
If you're completely incompetent, that's true. It's called trigger modulation. Linus is obviously experienced enough with a screw gun that he didn't need to change it. (I've NEVER changed any of our screw guns out of drill mode, unless it was to change to hammer mode.)

How difficult would it be, to adapt the MPX module card to a PC? It seems Apple has plenty of the Radeon cards, but they’re tucked away in their strange module configuration. It seems like only power would be required, for the 5700x, and the ProII, but the dual card accesses the second full PCI connector so it would be far more difficult.

Filipe A. It actually sense tbh. I used to hate apple, now I just bought an iP 11 and the things I can do in garage band are out of this world. And it’s such a simple app. Adobe LR is MUCH more usable on The iPhone and I really did not expect that (and I’m not even trying to be a fanboy. I used to use my androids to the absolute max but this is just SO simple and convenient and less stuff to worry about. And creative apps are nicer to use). I’m not going to change my Dell XPS 9560 for a mac (and the XPS is not a gaming laptop either but it runs Witcher 3 just fine) but I imagine myself buying a used MacBook just to have another laptop lying around for creative work if needed.

surveillance drives are basically low rpm drives who can run for a long time and overwrite themselves a lot more since they are usually used in surveillance video storage. they wont break but also wont break any records for speed

so i bought the OWC accelsior 4 m.2 nvme board and put 4 Samsung 970 evos plus on it brand new and my 2019 mac pro would not turn on i got 2 blinking amber lights so i tried just 1 of Samsung 970s and it read so then i tried 2 still 2 amber lights so i then tried formating each 970 and again same issue and will only allow 1 970 to work i tested the accelsior for n a different computer no issues with the accelsior so is this a Mac OS Monterey issue?

I upgraded my 2013 trashcan Mac Pro with a 1 TB NVMe SSD (running through a simple adapter) and 64 GB of RAM. I've upgraded every major part of my 2010 cheesegrater Mac Pro - CPU (from a 2.8 GHz quad-core to a 3.46 GHz six-core), GPU (RX 580), RAM (from 6 GB to 48 GB) and hard-drive (from a 500 GB mechanical hard-drive to a 2 TB NVMe drive in a PCIe adapter - and I installed a Blu-Ray drive, a USB-C card and a FireWire 400 card (which is useful for me, as the later Mac Pros only have FireWire 800).
My 2010 Mac Pro is now slightly more powerful than my 2013 Mac Pro, with a small but notable gain in multi-core, which is pretty cool.

I upgraded my wifi card, ram and installed a 1tb ssd for $240. The ram was the most expensive. Black friday was awesome this year.

9:38...I work for an enterprise technology integrator and one of my functions has been swapping RAM in servers. 24 sticks per server, times like...60 in 2 days. That was not fun for my thumbs. RAM modules without heat spreaders are like knives.
This thing is wicked, super, insane over kill.
2022 Info/Observation for RAM Upgrades: 12-core 2019 Mac Pro had significant issues causing kernel panic crashes, boot drive fragmentation and even hardware glitches in peripheral audio devices (recording studio workstation) that was traced to mixing after market brands of RAM with the stock Apple RAM.
All sticks were DDR4 and matched specs in every regard but
A). System wouldn’t power on with after market brand in primary slot of each pair (full 12-card configuration), and
B). Crashing subsided only after single manufacturers chips were installed.
Using only aftermarket RAM has been stable since. Some kind of firmware installed on the Apple branded RAM as an anti-competitor blockage?
Anyone else experienced the same?

I have the late 2014 Mac. First Mac. I had. I want the new version. I realized that if I got the lowest stuff that I could, I would pay about half the price I paid for the version I have now. haha
Seems like upgrading would be fun. I've not worked on computers since early 2000 with my Windows PC. So getting back into it seems exciting.
I would be fine with 190 some gigs of memory. Faster processor, better video card and more hard drive space. The only worry is, what if something happens and you destroy the new stuff and the Mac. haha But one never knows unless they try.
