What's with the colours. It should be just black and white and also what's the point if it's supposed to be hidden behind your TV.

+DetroitBORG please tell us one month later how stable it is, because the version1 needs to be unplugged pretty much once a day in order to work (tested with 5 units).

+TrueDesireHD I understand what you mean. I took the plunge and bought the Version 2. I had the version 1 which I'm giving away to a friend. What I can tell you is that Version 2 is faster and has not crashed or exhibited any of the unstable behavior that version 1 did. It doesn't get super hot to the touch. Warm yes but not the hell fire the old one had burning inside of it. Come to think of it I wonder if the heat made the old one have all of it's issues. I mean Version 1 was almost too hot to touch sometimes. Version 2 even feels better, ( the build quality? ) if that's a thing.

Thumbs up. The behind the TV connection was most helpful. BTW: I discovered after successful install thanks to you that I can relocate the device between TVs in different locations. Not something I would do all the time, but with one device for now it gives the viewer options.

Sorry but I have can't use Roku where I live its pretty much useless.

rahul ya A splitter would be for if you want to output one device to multiple screens. A switcher would be if you wand multiple devices to one screen.

How to watch any movie on your tv:
Step 1: Buy Google Chromecast
Step 2: Hook it up to your tv
Step 3: Look up playbox on your safari and download app
Step 4: Choose movie from playbox app and play it on your tv through Google Chromecast
Step 5: Enjoy 😀

Actually, my tv remote lets me control my chromecast. I can't choose content, but I can play, pause, scrub, and stop casting all together.

+Forest Noise A 50-inch Magnavox. Just google "Magnavox Fun Link". I think it works specifically with HDMI CEC devices.
It also works with my PS4. I can actually control my whole PS4 using my TV remote.

Chrispy Customs ??...if I'm wanting to watch tv(which is what the Chromecast is for) why would I be walking around the room? In any case, I can see the tv from any in the room.

It's actually my favorite out of the 3. Just different preferences I guess...

+Ttomisabeast I think they should have done a white version too. White home theatre gear seems to be more common than red or yellow. Sorry, coral and lemonade. Black obviously being the most common, then metallic/silver.

so just a quick note I'v noticed that chromecast doesn't actually force your computer to send data over to it. It go's directly to the internet meaning that if your using youtube or netflix you won't see any slowdown on your machine
