    2020 and my CC1 is still working fine. I honestly don't know WTF he is talking about as fas as 'build quality' or 'falling apart'. It's a little plastic device that plugs into the back of your TV and stays there, there's nothing to 'fall apart'.

    I have tested Gen 1 and Gen 2 on different hardware casting. if you have a aging phone/lower spec for casting Gen 1 is a must .. Gen 2 is pushing too hard on older and buffering getting hot ... but from a new better hardware its okay for a better image.
    I casted browsing and youtube using a Galaxy s5 to test . and Gen 1 was clear winner for the device . instant picture/video without buffering and allaround solid . Gen 2 heated up the phone and started buffering , audio problems and much more.

    Set Video to *1.5x speed* and this guy sounds like he's talking normal.

      He really seems like he's either talking slow, or the video isn't running at full speed.

    That was an awesome video comparing the chromecast’s. Useful information for me! So thank you 😊 Ignore the HATERS! Wankers! And if it’s the mysterious look your going for with your videos! Meaning you do this in all your videos, (not showing your face) then don’t STOP it! Keep it going and it will become your thing and people will become intrigued and will lust to know your true identity! Good quality content is the main important thing! Peace ✌️

    I have to give you props, you were one of the few reviewers if not the only one that brought up the minimal buffering speed. although I do not have a 4K television, just the buffering speed alone was enough of a reason to purchase the Chromecast Ultra. currently I switched over to TH-cam TV , I purchased the Chromecast Ultra , and the buffering was just unbelievably fast it was almost instantaneous. so bottom line , just the buffering speed alone was worth the purchase.

      Can you advise ultra v 3rd gen, disregarding price? It seems that the 3rd gen is faster, but caps out at 1080. Is this a fair synopsis?

    im still using my 1st gen chromecast.. its prolly still together coz i never touch it.. was lookin to upgrade coz i hear the 1st gen will no longer get updates and also sometimes youtube lags a bunch

    How does a usb dongle always connected to your TV and hardly move fall apart? I have and still using for more than 6 years. I just bought a Lan dongle for it to improve connection stability. Other than that its working really well for HD.

    • @WorthenBros
      @WorthenBros  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      you plug it in/unplug it a couple times (in other more extreme cases, accidentally hit it while moving the TV 😅)

    I upgraded to the second generation, chromecast 2. I am so happy i did. It's better in every way. Chromecast 2 is so much faster. I now don't have any buffering at all. Totally worth the upgrade.

    Wtf, every year another new Chrome cast? Honestly I love my 2nd gen. But I've heard ppl saying that the 1st Gen is much better? I don't get how that can be.

    • @WorthenBros
      @WorthenBros  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      No way. The 2nd gen is way better. I have both and 2nd gen is much better. Well I guess I had now, since my first gen broke on me.

    So ultra is still worth while even if watching 1080p? 1st gen stutters too much (and we have fast net), dont want to waste money on 2nd gen if it stutters too

    • @WorthenBros
      @WorthenBros  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      2nd Gen shouldn't buffer since you're Internet isn't slow. If you have/are planning to get (soon) a 4k TV then I'd get the Ultra or if you don't care about spending the extra money otherwise get the gen 2

    • @AClown
      @AClown 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      It'll be for 1080p screen for the foreseeable future. 1st gen isn't exactly buffering, there's no loading symbol like on youtube, it just looks really choppy & the audio is out of sync. Hopefully 2nd gen works (or hopefully I can get a refund if not).
      Cheers for the reply.
