@@boba4240 sort of is because working out makes it so microscopic tears appear in the muscle, they will then recover by basically forming a stronger muscle.
So in a technical sense it is suffering since you're "injuring" a muscle to make a stronger one.

Exercise is suffering, but so is being out of breath doing the most basic tasks. I'd rather be out of breath from excersing instead of dying from a heart attack at 35.

I've got two things to say as a woman. A. I'll take a "short guy". I'm 5' 2". Pretty much everyone is taller than me anyway. But I'll even take a guy my height and under. I'm here for a relationship, not a photo.
And I can safely say that working out is not suffering. I really need to do it to help my legs. My bones in my legs are rotated inward. So I look pidgeon-toed, when actually my bones are rotated. It causes so many problems. Working out can be difficult because of my legs, but my flexibility and endurance has increased since I've started working out. I'm so proud of myself now!

    As a woman-
I think shorter men are just fine to be honest. I don't really care how tall the people I date are as long as I can hug them.
Also, I think working out is good. Sure, it's painful, sure it causes a lot of discomfort at times, but it's the best damn thing I've ever gotten myself into the habit of doing. I started doing martial arts and when I realized that was something I was really passionate about continuing, I began to work out to ensure that I'd be able to continue and get better throughout my journey.
I lost a shit ton of weight over the past couple years, and it's something I'm proud of myself for.
Don't give up on trying to be healthy and ignore these toxic people who are content sitting with their failures rather than improving because they want to drag you down to their level. You're much better than them and you deserve more than being miserable the way they are.
Also- I've never understood why men being masculine is a bad thing but women being masculine isn't-
Don't people want equality or some shit? Like bruh there's nothing equal about that.

One thing I found that helps with exercise is having it in-between hobbies. For ex, I like to play games and decided to put one on the highest difficulty and, every time I died, I'd do 20 push ups, sit ups, or whatever else I can think of. If you're having a hard time with the boss or get angry, it helps let off some steam before you throw the controller

The only thing I do is walking for the majority of the day, taking the stairs often (I honestly just hate the elevator), and recently, like 10-30 minutes of Pilates. Like, duh, I'm not gonna bulk up from that, but my goal is to tone up since I'm already skinny and work on my flexibility, so it works out. Also, it isn't a race, you don't have to full send it as soon as you start working out. Go at your own pace and it isn't nearly as bad. Not all workouts are bad, just find out what will make you not wanna kill yourself lmao

Toxic masculinity isn't saying that masculinity itself is bad, is used that this certain form of masculinity that is very toxic is bad. Like the alpha male Sigma male grindset, it's weak when you cry, wiping your ass is gay type of mindset is toxicity. It's just like toxic femininity which no one is talking about but is a problem. Ironically, the reason why that's not taking on as a problem that it is is because of sexism itself- women are seen as something small and weak that need to be protected, and therefore are infantilized and excused for their actions that wouldn't fly for their male counterparts.

So, Im writing this comment at second 8 of the whole video without having watched any further.
The first statement. I dont know how that went out now. Ill see when i resume the video BUT, the statement the woman gave was kind of cheap. I know this is obvious but listen...
I practice Shaolin Kung Fu. The Shaolin way or lets say Kung Fu means "walking through the valley of pain". What I want to make clear is that there is a difference between feeling pain and suffering. Anything on the physical side is considered pain - at least a feeling of pain that is temporary. Any sort of emotional pain - mostly pain that is permanent just like depression is suffering. Permanency doesnt mean that it cant be changed but as it says there needs to be a change to not be feeling it anymore.
Suffer therefore isnt pain I would say. It is what it is - suffer - a constant and permanent feeling of inner brokenness.
And I think by being undisiplined and down to a point where one is willing to manipulate himself just to be fine with his own unhealthyness is suffering.

My boyfriend is a single inch shorter than me and everyone has comments about it. A lot of “I couldn’t do that” from people who are too insecure to date someone taller/shorter. But some benefits are: super easy to take pictures since we’re the same height, we have the same shoe size, very easy to kiss/hug, easier to share “wtf is this idiot talking about” looks at each other, since I’m tall for a girl and he’s short for a guy our shoe size is always available. Also he’s the most wonderful person in the world and I never thought of his height as a negative because it truly doesn’t matter.

I wish people thought of men working out the same way they think of women dressing up nice. People acknowledge that men can work out for themselves and not for a woman, but when a woman wants to dress up everyone always assumes it's only for men. They never assume it's for themselves. Just a thing I remembered

Its definitely suffering until your body gets more used to it. When i was 300lbs my vision would darken and id feel awful just getting off the couch. But the more i started putting my heart to work (start small and build up) the less normal every day things stopped being so difficult. A major win was being able to walk around a storw in the summer without losing breath and getting sweaty. Also my liver would hurt if i sat up too much so id have to lay down a lot. Once my weight reach non-morbid numbers, that pain stopped happening. The only reason anyone suffers that badly is because they most likely got used to being on the couch. Probably most of the time too.

When I say “I like skinny guys” I really am talking about ‘I can see his ribs’ skinny, not abs skinny. If there’s any muscle mass I’m a lot less interested. I want ribs and collarbones, with a tiny waist that dips in even more than mine, and I’m 105 pounds.

You don't have to work out to the point your whole body hurts to be healthier/thinner. Go for power walk, swim, play volleyball, do some stretching, play with your pet, ride a bike, go for an easy hike, dance... Anything! Just do some movement every day and you're going to feel better.

Just eat healthy bro working out does absolutely nothing if your not eating healthy.
The reason people work out is to burn calories right
How about instead of working out you eat less calories and burn more calories then your taking in which means your body actually have to use the calories you have in you
In short working out is good but you gotta eat healthy to or else you wont lose weight

Of course, you have to feel pain in-order to see results. You have to put in the work to see results. I was an obese person before but decided to exercise and change myself for the better. It was the toughest battle that I have ever fought, but I went through with it because I wanted to be healthy. Although, I am still fat, atleast I'm not obese anymore. I'm starting to see the results of my hardwork. I don't understand why the modern society people dislike the word "exercise" so much, when it can actually help you in many different ways.

The crazy thing is that you don't even have to exercise to lose weight. You just have to stop eating so many calories and your body will burn the fat for you. Most people don't keep track of their calories, so they don't realize how fattening their food is.
