    “Why do you think fat people are unattractive?”
    Well why do you think acne is unattractive, why do you think being tall is attractive, why do you think good teeth are conductive? Because those are all aspects of a traditionally attractive person, and it is attractive to be thin. Some people prefer fat people. Some prefer short people, some prefer big boobs, some small boobs. It’s not discrimination, it’s called standards and everyone has different standards.

    imo its not these peoples weight thats a problem, its their personality. This way of thinking and these tiktoks are basically sabotaging themselves with the way they talk and react. There’s a thin line between positivity and toxicity.

    • @meows..
      @meows.. 2 ปีที่แล้ว +14

      agreed, they have a negative personality imo, just looking at the bad things just bc bad things happen to them on a daily basis. ik its very hard to try to look at the ups in those times, but always try to look in a positive way to brighten your own mood, youll enjoy life a bit more. and im like pretty sure nobody/barely anybody bats an eye when a fat person walks by or when a skinny person passes by and theyre thinking "omg that person is so fat". if they always think like that, then im very sorry for their mindset and they should try to not look at the negatives sm!

    I don't get why so many people get so pressed when they're excluded from a preference. It's. A. Pre-fer-ence. By definition of the word, someone is gonna be excluded from it, and if that's you, then tough tiddies, that's how the cookie crumbles, move on. Like if someone said "Oh I don't date guys without a six pack" I'd just be like "Aah that kinda sucks for me" and then move on with my day, why must people strive to be liked by everybody all the time, that's something that you learn or should have learned is impossible in your like teen years

    • @meows..
      @meows.. 2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      absolutely agreed! im not gonna fucking bring the damn earth down with me just because someone doesnt find me attractive! some of these individuals are always facing the negatives in everyday lifes where they think EVERYTHING that happens to them is a bad thing and doesnt happen to anyone else.
      just as your example, ive talked to some girls who has a preference for big guys and they would turn down a guy who is very built like a bodybuilder, so this absolutely doesnt just happen to fat individuals!

    • @suitdoggy4707
      @suitdoggy4707 2 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      Also why would anyone want to date a person who doesn't find them attractive? You're not their preference forcing them to date you because it's offensive otherwise will not make them any more attracted to you. I don't think people control what they find attractive and it's creepy to tell them otherwise.

I can’t count the amount of times I’ve seen women say that the “accepted standard of beauty” was specifically chosen to be skinny white women to hurt and break down black women who apparently are just naturally big, I don’t know how true that last part is because I’ve seen plenty of thin black women, but apparently black people are just heavy set by nature and white people made skinny women the beauty standard because racism. On the last lady; I can see what she means by completely excluding someone as technically not being a preference, since preference often mean that I would've preferred this however I can also tolerate the other choice. Like liking cold weather yet being able to tolerate hot weather.
    However - preference still means that you would like something _more so_ than this other thing, to the point that you'd exclude that other thing, especially if it opposes your preference so much. It's also much more contextual when it comes to dating since you can't control the weather, however you can control who you date - So we're basically given the freedom to go for our preference more so than something that isn't preferred, and who would go with something they don't prefer? People prefer to not have children and may never get one since they don't think they're responsible, that doesn't mean they hate children entirely.
    This is basically common sense. Once you're given the freedom to always choose what you prefer, why should you chain that person down into this delusion that they don't have that freedom? Let them have their preference.

    • @xxxstellarxxx

    7:38 this isn't necessarily true. There are so many skinny/thin ppl that eat terribly but they're not shamed for it as much as bigger ppl. This is especially true w/girls. And they kind of proved her point when they said just by looking at her they can tell she eats unhealthy. How do they know? Slim people have a faster metabolism which allows them to eat whatever junk they want w/out any physically obvious "consequences". Meanwhile their insides are crying out lol. A slim person could eat a whole pizza and people wouldn't care as much. But the second a fat person eats one slice of pizza it's the end of the world and she needa to eat a salad. So I get what she's saying.
