Good work shows how much you can really get done in a day. You’ve inspired me to get to work. Not a writing tip, but have you ever tried matcha? It has less caffeine, keeps you up for longer, and can help you get into the flow state a bit easier, makes you feel zen, which could help, especially when feeling drained after a long session.
This is a wonderful tip, thank you! I’ve heard of matcha but never tried it, so I’ll be sure to do so😊🍵 I’d really love to find an alternative to coffee as it often makes me crash or feel anxious.. I’m glad this has been motivating for you too! I’m also surprised just how much I could get done in a day, maybe it’s the structure? I wonder how this could be applied to everyday work? It’s like you said, good work makes all the difference✒️✨
When I was cleaning out the garage I found a number of journals that had been in boxes for 20 years. They brought back memories I didn't realize I had. It was cathartic but it also made me realize how much I've stayed the same since my 20's. It's funny. Even though I'm older I've never stopped thinking of myself as a 20 something man. I'm married and my kids are all grown but that sense of just being a guy with more responsibilities hasn't changed. Seeing entries in my own print reaffirmed that sense of being the same person. I would say it's worth it for that reason alone: to realize later that you haven't changed after decades have passed.
That sounds like a wonderful experience! And really interesting to hear from someone looking back on their life, this is why I believe we’re the pieces inside of us more than our life experiences✨ I’ve also been keeping journals since very young so I hope one day to look back on them and still find myself in it☺️ Thank you for sharing this!!
