    Hey, I hope you like this video😊 A quote from Jung that inspired me while filming this: "The meaning and design of a problem seem not to lie in its solution, but in our working at it incessantly. This alone preserves us from stultification and petrification."
    What's your mbti type/function stack? And how do you notice your critic function show up in your life? I'd be really curious to hear, and let me know if you have any questions!
    (And to those of you who think your personality can’t be described by just a few letters, you’re right and that’s not what I mean to say by this! Even Jung says knowing someone’s psychological type tells you as much about their character as being able to describe their hair color as brown- it simply categorizes the different ways in which people select & reject information, and make decisions that shape them & their lives. Every conscious attitude is unique, and I'd love to hear about your experience✨)

      Turns out my function stack is accurate to the point it prevents me talking about the subject.

      I’m glad to hear it! It’s easy to judge & criticize ourselves, but I find that understanding is what helps the most☺️ Thank you for the support!

    when doing difficult things i found it helps a huge amount to just do even small steps to build up doing the thing.. then to be super kind to ourselves and take time to just relax and recover by doing things we find really nice to do, be comfy, watch some comedies etc, to recover from the stress, then on another day or later try to do more things to build up getting closer to our goals.. but being super kind to ourselves when we need it helps a huge amount, as well as pushing ourselves a little bit TO Start to do the things we want to build up
    i found this through years of trying to recover from ptsd and full on depression and i think it helps a lot, so i hope this helps people get through tough times faster
    Best wishes to you all

    I watched this 3 times. I appreciate how descriptive you were. I’m an INFJ and it’s wild how accurate my Ni-Fe-Ti-Se stack is. I’m excited to focus on 4, 6, and see how integrated 8 is.

      @@itszoewinter I think I was just slow with figuring it all out, I was searching for the underlying meaning of something I didn’t fully understand. Thank you for breaking it all down. Btw if you end up single again, you know where to find me. I promise I’m not a car irl.

    Expertly broken down, I've just begun unraveling some of the Critic Fi issues that I've been holding onto. Also it's interesting to see how an INFP sees their critic Ni, because I have an INFP friend who, although not interested in the container of MBTI, has a strong resistance to his own Critic Ni and often bounces against my Ni. It's as if he uses his Ne to keep seeing alternatives, and as you said, it can be both positive and negative using the Auxiliary so exclusively. Like actually ignoring Critic Ni seems from my perspective like jumping off a cliff and not looking where you're landing.
    For myself, I've been in the grip of a terrible Fe/Fi conundrum for a while. Fe tells me to connect to people, but Fi says only via the values that they EXACTLY care about in the moment or I'm a bad or annoying person,and so Fe wants to be responsible and just directs me into doing what they want or nothing at all. And then I feel bad because I'm not building connections that are valuable to me as well. My solution to this is to treat Fi as a postmortem( like you have) of 'have I been good or bad?' and so Fe (along with Te) can act as 'it doesn't matter what the connection is, a connection is a connection ' and 'just connect on what you want'.
    Would be interested to see how you feel about Trickster Se!

Very good idea! your insight is awesome and i hugely appreciate you trying to help us as even in this one day I've found your videos you have profoundly helped me get insight into things that have kept me self sabotaging myself and being hard on myself about, due to critisisms i got when i was little, for so many years

    Oh this is so good! I really appreciate the information you gave here in regards to shadow work and Mbti. I have been pursuing my own shadow work through the lens of spirituality and using my own astrological chart as a tool to pinpoint the areas in my subconscious that need the most help that way. I had no idea that mbti could be used in a similar fashion! I am familiar with mbti but had never delved too deeply into it before. Hearing you explain about the deeper cognitive functions and understanding your inner critic through that lens is super fascinating! This is going to be a new rabbit hole I'll enjoy going down after seeing this video :) My type is INTJ, btw.
    Thank you for such an informative and helpful video! 🌱

      Thank you!! Wow, that sounds really interesting! I know very little of astrology but it comes up a lot while reading about the psychological types, do you have any recommendations to learn about this?
      Haha I hope you have fun going down the mbti rabbit hole🤓 Oh, I admire the qualities in INTJ a lot, “the mastermind”✨ So your critic function may be Ti, I found this one really cool to read about- Ti acts to challenge & verify knowledge and belief systems of yourself and others
      Thank you so much for the kind words, I’m glad you found it helpful☺️🫶🏻

    • @VermillionLeaves
      @VermillionLeaves 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@itszoewinter Yes! If I were just starting out with astrology again the first thing I would look into is your Sun, Moon, and Rising Sign. Your Sun sign typically represents your core personality and ego; your Moon will be what rules your emotions, how you respond to outer stimuli, and "your internal life"; your Rising Sign represents how others see you, how you show up in the world, it is also said to relate to your appearance as well. I recommend looking up a sun, moon, rising calculator online and go from there :)
      I've been having so much fun looking deeper into mbti! You are exactly right about my critic function being Ti. I relate a lot to everything that I've read about it so far 😂 It's funny because my mom and brother are both INFPs so maybe that's why I feel very comfortable with your style of speaking and teaching in these videos 😁
      I look forward to what you have lined up next! I hope you have a wonderful week 🍃

  • @CastleHassall
    @CastleHassall 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    if you feel things will go bad, i find it helps a lot to tell yourself "but it might work!" :)
    and "think of what IS the problem and then what is a solution to that problem, or how can i get TO my aim (as some problems can just be stepped past and don't actually need solved, just avoided (such as,"how can i make my partner treat me with respect" .. turn that into "i walk away from them because they do not treat me with respect" :)
