Hey girl, so I have a question…how many words do you usually write in your first chapter. The reasoning behind this question that I will admit is quite odd is that some videos say you need it short and some say long 😅. Therefore, I thought I would ask you. Also, where can I read your books?
Hey ana! I just wanted to give you a funny for the day bc I was in science class and the teacher was busy yelling at my friend bc her brother took her laptop out of her bag and put her dogs ball as a prank. I got some writing time in! i actually wrote 300 words during their conversation! Thanks besties brother! but yeah that was the last time i wrote thanks for some motivation to write bc whenever you post its gives me motivation to write. ily :)
As to the writing style question, I haven't been actively looking, so I dunno, it could potentially be there. And lately I've been doing more brainstorming than writing my draft.
I love this! I recently finished my first draft of my (hopefully) debut novel! I'm taking a break from it because that's what most people recommend you do before beginning to edit. It's only been two weeks and I have been struggling with it! I didn't realize how often I write and how much it means to me until this break and I just want to keep writing it! I'm hoping to start editing in two weeks... let's hope that I can make it that long without looking at it LOL
I know im not Ana but if you strugle with not writting you could write some short stories during your free time and if you like one of those alot then you could use that as a base and actually write a whole novel based off of it. Also good luck on editing

my first book was awful, the writing made me cringe and all, but I was so proud of it an the idea and it gave me so much pride to point at it and go I WROTE THAT WHAT THE HELL but my book I'm writing now (attempting to hit 50K before the end of the year because NaNo is too s t r e s s f u l with exams as well) is so much better in terms of EVERYTHING and I am feel like a proud father lol your book sounds so interesting, keep going, one day I hope to be able to pick it up and read it cover to cover!
You know how storys are usual told from the hero's story through the heros perspective, but what if the hero's story was told from the villains perspective?🤔

I also have a character that belongs to one of my ideas, that truly is a terrible person, but in a way I kinda love them.
