I tried the tuck thumb throw and I missed my target by like 50 feet. Don’t understand how anyone throws like that

It's a tough grip to learn but over time it will become natural like it did for me. It's the only way I can throw my 4 seam at this point

Great content as always! Quick question!? As we use more and more technology to design pitches. Which is better in your experience for training athletes, Trackman or Rapsodo? I might be messing up the names. But which is better for training athletes? The elevated black box above the catcher, or the trianglular rapsodo on the ground in front of the catcher? Thanks, I’m saving up for one :)

How much is the one that sits on the ground?

Trackman (The elevated black box) would be the preferred piece of tech. It measures how the ball actually moves, while Rapsodo (ground unit) tracks the ball using photos and predicts the movement based on the those photos from the initial ball flight. Velo, Spin Rate, and Spin Efficiency are relatively accurate on Rapsodo, but the movement can vary widely due to effects on the ball during flight
