Sir David Jason is one of my favorite actors for being both the voice of Danger Mouse and the BFG animated film as well as playing Blanco in Porridge, Granville in Open All Hours and Still Open Hours and as Del Trotter in Only Fools and Horses and I still laugh when I watch the scene where he is leaning on the bar and falls backwards he is a joy to watch and a national treasure 👍❤️

I had the pleasure of working on Only Fools as a supporting artist. Both David Jason and Nicholas Lyndhurst were absolute true gents. I remember being on location in Bristol, standing at the tea and coffee table, when suddenly this familiar booming voice comes from behind me: “Morning, sir! How are you?” It was David Jason. Such a genuine, talented, good man.

Not taking anything at all away from “arguably the funniest” episodes like Jolly Boys Outing, A Touch Of Glass and Yuppy Love, but THE BEST episode for me personally has to be Time On Our Hands !!! How John Sullivan played with everyone’s emotions in this one was truly mind blowing…it was the epitome of everything that the brothers set out to achieve after all the years of wheeler dealing to finally “make it” yet it was under their noses in the garage lockup all that time…priceless 😂🤣👍🏻👌🏻
