Being a Londoner I can associate with all the characters in only fools and horses and I love all those actors , They portrayed the characters perfectly
Mate I grew up in finsbury park in the late 80s early 90s when London was mint! Full of wannabe gangsters and foreigners now, watching fools and horses takes me back to my childhood and propa london
I met so many of the cast during their filming and time spent in Thanet, specifically Margate, Broadstairs and Dumpton. it was a great time and I even played an Only fools and horses fruit machine in Ramsgate with both David and Nicholas which was funny and spent quite some time watching and learning about the filming side of things during the Dumpton market scenes, filmed throughout the Jolly boys outing episode. It opened my eyes to how hard they worked and the time spent to bring us what is arguably the best comedy ever, in my eyes! I stood and watched one scene which took an hour or so hours with constant retakes to perfect it and in the end the finished scene was around 40 seconds long for example. I wish we could go back and everyone is young again and imagine for one second seeing this amazing comedy from scratch having never seen it? Would be amazing. Plugging the book made me smile, both by holly and sitting next to David, I imagine him having a garage full of them along side old record players, maybe a deep diving suit and so forth but let me tell you, the motors they all drove when shooting scenes and arriving etc, I doubt that he has lol
I can understand why (unfortunately) the pictures of John Challis were blurred, but considering ITV plc own the rights to Yorkshire TV programmes I don’t understand why they blurred the clip from A Touch of Frost.
“What do yo got…..”i got aces”…how many?”…”un,deux,trois,quatre”…”Ffffooooouuur?”…..”I didn”t know you were good in math Dell!” John Challis was amazing….RIP
he clearly loved John and also being worth around £10 MILLION i don`t think he needs the money. But i`m sure that he wants to look after his loved ones when its his turn, none of us will live forever. So i can`t say i agree with you.
David Jason at some point of promoting his book weeks before mention that all monies from the sale of the book goes to charity that John chalice was Patreon of so that’s why the book is there
The whole point of him going on the show was to promote his book. John passed away just before the interview so the hosts mentioned him as a sign of respect
My take on the interview was that it had been arranged prior and unfortunately John Challis happened to pass away, coincidentally. However, maybe I'm being naive (I don't know the background).
Boycie was a brilliant character, brilliantly played. Everyone on Only Fools were perfectly cast.
Apart from Cassandra
Trigger was the best 😂
By far the best British comedy EVER made. Only fools will always be remembered as a real piece of comedy gold genius
The Best show on television ever. Thank you all concerned with the production.

I understand there’s such things as copyright infringement etc, but did they really need to blur out the pictures???

All the best to David Jason but all the blurry pictures and skipping the clips makes it a bad video
Due to copyright I think
Wow plenty promotion book long live delboyxxx
Why are the photos of john blurred?
I think ITV are too cheap to pay the image owners repeat fees compared to what they must’ve paid to use them the first time around.
WHY IS THIS ON THE PEADOPHILE LIST....STRANGE
Pluggin his book while mourning his best friend.
Classic Delboy
No no no he was on the show to talk about the book and his friend just happened to die so they wouldn’t ignore it.
Boycie was so funny
I saw John in panto in 2006.
Which one?
Soon as I realised this beast was on I switched off...absolute wrong un!!
Who?
talking about your dear friend while promoting your new book sitting beside you in camera shot very tasteful sir David
he clearly loved John and also being worth around £10 MILLION i don`t think he needs the money. But i`m sure that he wants to look after his loved ones when its his turn, none of us will live forever. So i can`t say i agree with you.
He who dares...

In DelBoy fashion,that is ok
He is Dell Boy,what did expect?😉
Bit crass having a book on display mr Jason.
The whole point of him going on the show was to promote his book. John passed away just before the interview so the hosts mentioned him as a sign of respect

Do you mean David Jason?
John and I die
Britische Kunststück...
Unfortunately selling a book whist talking about dead friends.
Is he Dell boy or not,c’mon😉
No the segment was about the book but his poor friend just happened to die
Love how he’s using the publicity around John Challis’s death to plug his new book.
Doing Monkey Harris proud

@@RachelClealyes I 100% agree on this.
My wish is to meet Delboy, before he dies, i know i will never have a chance for that....
Why not?
There are conventions about only fools and horses
Loved OFAH ....but poor taste to take the opportunity to plug his book when paying tribute to John: RIP
SORRY FOLKS...TWEE WORKING CLASS TRASH....THE GREAT UNWASHED WORKING CLASS.
