One of the humblest, friendliest, most gracious persons I've ever met

i watched it from start to finish the last few weeks, inc specials and then the spin offs, rock n chips etc, loved every minute. before that i'd grown up with episodes on but not in the right order. was so fun to watch it all in the perfect order.
What a man of tremendous class and dignity. There aren't many of my fellow Americans that know of Sir David, nor do they know of the many works of his lifetime; but I've been following him since the days of "Do Not Adjust Your Set", when I was just a young teenager. He's absolutely right when he said he was certainly, and undeniably fortunate to be surrounded by equally talented people; which guarantees excellence in any profession. The darling buds of May young fresh actor I loved this guy growing up I'm a nineties kid but was blessed with being brought up on 60-80s movies sitcoms and music don't forget i only found out what text was on a seimens or Motorolla that had Orange and T mobile the first era of texting
What they brought to the table was just insane. The acting was brilliant, the actors made the show amazing and they could just have you laughing, crying and just make you feel a whole range of emotions
Sir David Jason is the one of the best British actors of all time. Ive seen him in action when filming the exterior scenes of Still Open All Hours at Doncaster and he was very good. He's such a nice man too.
David (quite rightly) gets recognition for what he's achieved... nick not so. He was the first choice for rod and the first confirmed actor in fools. David was 3rd on the list to play del. nick has been supporting lead in iconic series like butterflys as well as leading goodnight sweatheart...he deserves more credit.
You can ever beat Only Fools and Horses. And also you can never ever stop watching the repeats on Sky Gold. Absolutely loved this show. And now there are doing a documentary on it,. can't wait for this to come out. So, a BIG thank you to the actors,and actresses from the show,and also John Sullivan the writer.

Only Fools being my favorite. 2019 has been a bit quiet for celebrity deaths, 2016 on the other hand was a cull. So many deaths, David Bowie & George Michael to name but a few. Clint Eastwood will be my onion peeler.
Never again will we see such qualities of an actor .. the likes of sir ronnie barker and Eric sykes and many other legen actors that have passed .. amazing .... Thanks for the laughs

This country has produced some great sitcoms, porridge, rising damp, Gavin and Stacey and The Office but Only Fools is the greatest of all time. John Sullivan was a genius. The 1987-1993 period of only fools was the best period of any sitcom in history in my opinion. The only American show that could touch this was Cheers.
