Can the samsung Z Fold 6 be used a s a full dekstop and laptop replacement? Using DeX mode the samsung z fold 6 can be transformed into a powerful desktop experience.
Many games work with a gamepad rather than keyboard and mouse. Keyboard and mouse is technically not a problem on Android, but game devs don't bother adding support.
Yeah don't get a fold to do this, it's way too expensive. But if you're looking at either a used s23 or s24, or a new s24 on a good carrier deal than it can cost $200-$600 and that becomes a crazy good deal for a phone and computer replacement for basic tasks and office productivity. Also get a pair of xr glasses for $200-400 and you've got a computer in your pocket with a 120 inch screen.
I got one for this purpose and never regretted it. Using the Fold on the go is much better than a standard size phone for me. Plenty of deals on the Fold, too, if that's your primary concern.
Oddly, laptops are also used by people doing rwal work. Emails, reports, excel, scheduling.... next time, don't show us a calculator, youtube and games.
It's not a desktop replacement because you can't use dex natively on it. That was such a horrible decision from Samsung however we all know they did it because they also want you to buy a tablet and carry that around with you with your huge folding phone
You can nearly mimic DeX with floating windows. I use my Fold on the go with my folding Bluetooth keyboard + integrated trackpad regularly in that way. But yes, there's a huge thread on Samsung Members telling Samsung to include DeX directly on the Fold with hundreds of "likes".
And it wouldn't fit in your pocket to go when you're done. You also have two devices to manage and sync. A single device is a lot more desirable to some.
I really don't understand the point to do that or to buy a android phone that it's 2500 euros. Make no sense to me . I mean i love the fold, i think it's a smart device but the price make no sense .. with 2500 you can buy a gaming desktop , a surface studio laptop , a pc . In my opinion a cheap phone + one ipad pro other than cheaper are a better option . Also a cheap phone and a ultra powerful laptop with touch from asus are muchhhh better x.x.
This is just a concept for video, nobody will use this crazy setup for real work. The idea is interesting, but that’s just about it. It might make more sense to use external monitor, but than again, you can get a decent gaming rig for that money 😊
@@macmick I love technology but i think there are smarter way to spend 2500 € . Also you can do that kind of setup with every kind of android tablet or phone ... Dex is just a app made for samsung devices ...
Yeah fold makes 0 sense for this. An s23 or s24 is a much better choice. I'm boycotting buying new apps or purchasing a new iPad pro until Apple brings back proper VM support on ipad OS.
you can deactivate the virtual keyboard in the keyboard options after you select physical keyboard

Could be good with Shadow pc?
What keyboard is this

Expensive for who?
The stock market. 🧐🍷
How about charging the phone while in DeX mode? Can the hub provide charging?
Yes.

What's that game? Kinda looks like a Genshin Impact knock off.
wuthering waves
Or you could buy a Macbook and a phone for the same money.

You mean an iPhone and a MacBook. 😂 so what's that cost?

The point is to be portable. So you have a computer that you can carry in your pocket.
@@macmickI did and do exactly this. Not sure what you're talking about.
