Your welcome, the rebuild is the easiest part of the whole thing. Good luck with everything and I hope it all goes smooth for you.

when you remove the carbs you have to have a very long phillips screw driver.once you loosen the clamps on the boots and remove the carbs,do yourself a favor, paint the clamps a bright color, orange or yellow so when you go to put things back you can look in w/flash light and see the screws on the clamps much easier.**if you put the bike into moth balls for an extended period of time, start the bike, remove vac hose on fuel pet cock which will shut off gas flow.this will allow the bike to run out of gas, empty carbs are not likely to have fuel setting in them and clogging jets.

Thank you Mamonti, I really appreciate that!! It really depends on what the request is, but I would try to help if I could.

@@herbiesgarage681 I was kidding with the request. LOL. Biggest issue that I have found is the Carbs, timing belts, alternator and shaft drive. I think you have covered most of it already. I wondered if you can get bearings and brushes for the alternator? I had a alternator shop that always had the parts but now they retired and closed. I would like to rebuild mine so I don't break down somewhere not to mention the cost for a replacement!

Parts seem to be harder to find anymore. When I was a kid there was a couple of different places you could go in town to buy just about any electrical part. I bought a set of starter brushes for my 1969 Firebird for less than $2 everything is just buy and replace anymore. 😊
