    My absolute favorite series of rifles. I live in Commifornia so I don’t see these around very often , or any of the 55 series of rifles. However I did come across a Sig556xi a month ago. I did not hesitate to take her home 👍🎉

    Yes, the magazines are virtually impossible to find unless you go through JDI. Ordered 7 magazines when originally ordering the 751.
    Might have to upgrade and grab a quad rail for my standard 751.

      This is both lighter weight and softer shooting compared with a standard FN FAL. Probably more reliable in harsh environments too because its an AK system manufactured in Switzerland. Kind of the best of both worlds.

    I like the green/gray combination and black/gray. I would love to see 16" barrels with threaded muzzles so you can put a supressor on them, I wouldn't want to SBR a 553 or use a brace, although that probably is the most practical to use a suppressor on.

    • @misha5670
      @misha5670 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The 751 does have a threaded barrel and is 16" long. So its gtg for a suppressor.

    Hi Misha,
    Great video as always, you mentioned the FDE 751 SAPR quad rail will be longer, but wouldn't it be the same size as the SOCOM? It can't get any longer due to the gas block, right?

    • @misha5670
      @misha5670 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It could wrap around & in front of the gas block like on some FN SCARs or AR15s. IMO that looks stupid, but it is possible.

    • @nibs208
      @nibs208 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      For what it’s worth, when Misha mentioned the longer quad rail on the FDE 751, I paused his video and counted the rail slots on his SOCOM and counted the rail slots on the single picture of the FDEs that Dave has shared, and they were the same. The picture is a weird angle and does me it look like the hand guard is longer though.

  • @tlrinc2343

    I really like this one, but have to take a look at the FDE before I can say this is best

    I have never seen these in my time in the swiss army in 2018/2019. i was only in a kind of special infantry unit not special forces, but the few times we worked together with special forces they ran hk417s for their dmrs.
    also i have never seen special forces run p220s they always ran glocks

    Jayro also stands casual while shooting firearms is probly the main reason recoil is slapping him around so much he needs to get a good stance while shooting so he isnt letting the recoil control him

    • @justinroe7427
      @justinroe7427 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah, I've done some work on that since the time we shot the older clip of the SAPR. More aggressive forward weight distribution, tucked in, etc. Feels less awkward to do that while moving up than just standing, honestly. Could be the part of the reason it seemed so soft shooting to me now (plus the brake, more weight, better gas reg, etc).
