    I remember when cicada 3301 came out. I tried being apart of the solvers for a couple years 2012-2014. Not much of a solver but more of a stand and watch type of deal lol. When the puzzles were solved, 3301 would post and say that we found our person. I think the reason why 3301 has since disappeared, is because the 2014 puzzle is still unsolved. I can see a resumption happening once the 2014 puzzle is solved.

    On the topic of The Black Dahlia, the hotel where she stayed at, The Cecil Hotel, also had another mysterious death occur. Elisa Lam, I believe was her name, CCTV footage found her seemingly talking to someone that wasnt there while the elevator malfunctioned and then she mysteriously wound up in the hotel's water tower. People assumed drugs but from what I remember, the toxicology reported no drugs in her system at the time of death. I may have said the entire mystery but i just felt it was something else to report as a mystery set in recent times
    The Dyatlov Pass incident is also another huge mystery that i dont think has been solved either

    • @lucasshaver7789
      @lucasshaver7789 หลายเดือนก่อน +50

      The leading theory concerning Elisa Lam is that at the time of her disappearance (based on her toxicology report), she was undermedicated for her bipolar disorder, leading to a psychotic episode, which would explain why she was behaving strangely on the hotel CCTV footage in the elevator before her disappearance.

    The thing about consciousness is that we already know a lot about it, we even know where it arises (the brain) and a few physical functions of the brain that influence it (left-right hemispheres of the brain, or the action of psychedelics).
    The the only reason the "hard problem" of consciousness is "hard", is because they start by instantly dismissing a very real possibility, which some people call "the problem of qualia". And that possibility is the very real possibility that qualia DOES NOT exist. That every person's "subjective" interpretation of reality is actually the same, within standard neuronal parameters.

      @brandenbeair1909 หลายเดือนก่อน +9

      That’s sort of a mystery but after watching a few videos on it it’s far more likely the colonist just up and dipped for one reason or another. Lack of supplies, sickness, whatever could fit the bill. Theres even evidence of the possibility that a couple where brought into the tribe and lived out their lives with them. had pale skinned blue eyed children which would have been obviously not a common trait for natives. Been a minute since I looked into it tho. Pretty much we don’t know what exactly happened cuz the guy in charge went back to England for supplies but didn’t get back in time to see or learn of what happened. Something supernatural may have happened, but I feel that’s far less likely than the theory they abandoned the place

      Non of the fantasy BS. Logic would say that they left and went for supplies and after waiting for too long for supplies, they just decided to join the natives. OR the natives killed the grown ups and buried them far away and raised the European kids.

    The WOW signal is probably naturally occurring. It is interesting. But, if it was an artificial signal, it would have been detected at some point again, which it hasn’t. It was a narrowband signal, that was consistent with deep space communications (what we hypothesize they would take). If it was artificial it probably would have repeated, as signals do.

    oh man the yuba county 5. if i remember the story right this is what i think happened: they wanted to celebrate and got stoned in the woods. got spooked by the dude in the truck coming, they ran and got lost and the rest is history. not to mention one of them was on meds and thus did not have them and could have had an episode and did horrible things. i think 2 of em were in a trailer at one point?? i think one was the dude who didn't have his meds. i know they were also "slow" so that didn't help their situation. i think that whole story was basically an accident. i know the dude in the pickup that drove by em (the car that scared em) had a drunk POS in it that hated the boys so i think he may have been involved. maybe he scared em on purpose as a joke but then a few days later THIS happens and hes like "oh shit, i did that! oh god! they're gunna get me!"
    and thats what i think happened to them. nothing mystical or fascinating, just a serious of unfortunate events for a group of slow people who had no medication. or because they had issues reacted badly to the pot they smoked. you get really paranoid on weed sometimes and its extreme paranoia and if they were scared already (of getting caught) the weed paranoia would have made it worse.
    for the black dahlia im pretty sure it was that doctor and because he was rich and i think famous? "THEY" obviously covered up what he did. like what politicians and celebs do today. this doctor was a disgusting murderer and the law and higher ups were like "ok we can't lose this doctor because of reasons so like, cover up the story some how!". he could have also simply paid the cops to look the other way. i did see a vid about the doc having a big house and a secret room or some shit. forgot the name of the vid...as usual lol. oh yeah i think the story was about his son seeing the secret room! or secret meetings or something. maybe he wrote a book? i just remember watching a vid about it and it made sense that he was the one that did it

    its a wild concept to imagine how far developed we would be right now if things like the bronze age collapse didnt happen, if rome didnt fall like it did, if so much knowledge wasnt lost along the way. There were inventions back then that only became important again millenniums later. Imagine if 1st century greece had actually fully developed steam engines, we would be so far ahead in so many ways right now.

    Voynich manuscript has been solved. It's an ancient form of Turkish. There is a father and son team who have made a few videos and done some conferences. They have translated 30% or so of the book according to them. The proof they show seems pretty convincing.

    Why most people think the Max Headroom signal hijacking is an inside job comes down to multiple observations. First, he refers to Chuck Swirsky, who worked for WGN radio at the time. A little while later, he hums the opening tune to "Clutch Cargo", a 1950s TV Show known for "synchro-vox" technology (inserting video of talking mouth over still image) and was re-airing on WGN through the 1970s. He also quotes "I still see the X!" which is from the last episode of the show. Then, he says he has laid a giant masterpiece for all of the " Greatest World Newspaper Nerds" (referring to WGN, which I heard you say WNG. It stands for World's Greatest Newspaper, referring further to the Chicago Tribune, who owned the station at the time).
    While you are at it, maybe make a video about other broadcast interruptions? Just a suggestion.
    Edit: The image where he gets spanked, he has a "marital aid" in his mouth. Yuck. Maybe blur that out next time please?

    D.B. Cooper I heard about when I was a kid, It's VERY possible to get away like that. Remember there were plenty of paratroopers in ww2. lol sky diving in warfare was a HUGE thing back then, like... you have no idea how new it still was. To this day, I dont think it's 60-70 years old yet, the sport itself.
