The South part of Anna Maria near Bradenton Beach took on a lot of sand and water. Beach House restaurant is closed indefinitely, but Tide Tables is reopening.
I would wait until Hurricane Milton passes and let people clean up before going back I would skip West Coast and go to the FL Keys they have not been affected

Well, I started with a magic carpet and a genie-just kidding! Took Palma Sola Blvd to Manatee Avenue and waited in traffic for over an hour to get to the island.

See 20:20 Rod & Reel Pier. Sadly the Rod and Reel Pier was severely damaged from Helene. Hopefully it will survive Milton, too, and rebuild.
