Gonna be lots of oil on that track....haha. Looks like fun but Id rather watch sport bikes but To each his own. I like watching the V TWINS Harleys and Indians battle on the flat track.
I agree it’s really going to open a lot of doors.
Thought it was a daft idea , more fool me as it was a lot of fun to watch . Hopefully with the 6 race series planned for this year there will be better racing down the field .

Yes.
H.D is the most sold and most popular big bike(over 400cc engine bike) brand in japan.
H.D bagger is popular for touring bikers.

Some super cub fun guys and maniacs using tour super cubs.
But super cub is cannot use japanese highway (under 125cc engine bike cannot use in regally).
Fun as hell to watch!! I would love to see this class run a full schedule next year! Pack the stands for some good old Indian vs. Harley racing! Like to see a stock class as well! Let all manufacturers baggers in BMW, Kawasaki etc.
I love the Harley vs Indian theme. I would love to see the Indian 750 vs whatever Harley could bring comparable. I think it was stir some interest for both manufacturers.

Harleys new motor is being made for just that reason IMO. Looking forward to it , it will be good for the sport
It would be unfair to let Bmw race. They would win since they handle better and engine might be more powerful.

That pass into the corkscrew was one of the best passes I've ever seen in any motorsport. Sliding that thing over the crest into the lead was awesome

Racing those at Laguna Seca is insane! The straightaway going into Turn 1 crests and bends to the left into the hairpin. Hairy all the way!! ✊🏼🏁

This is the most unusual motorcycle race I've ever seen. And I loved every second of it. I learned today that baggers can take corners too. 😎😎😎
It’s ground clearance and frame structure. Suspension plays into it (more so on the track) but the biggest things are how much you can lean (ground clearance) and the consistency of the frame (no flex).
That’s why so many Harley guys change out their rear shocks for a little more ground clearance. It makes a world of difference- compression and rebound adjustments for the street are just gravy...

I'm a car guy and know very little about motorcycle suspension behavior.(thanks for that.👍) The high weight and limited lean make their riding styles resemble superbike racers of old. I also like the loose rules package. Air cooled vs water cooled vs turbocharged. Where else are you gonna see that? Can't wait to see more.

@@alexduey7868 I’ve done both, love sports bikes too, my KTM will flip in to anything, my bagger takes work. Try it you haven’t, they’re all fun, just different level of limits, definitely easier on a light bikes, takes skill to lean the big boys, I wouldn’t recommend it for everyone though, can go wrong quick
