Thank you, this approach worked perfectly on my 2009 Honda Accord. All I did was use a screwdriver to poke a hole in the rubber grommet and it worked perfectly. As just a bit of information for anybody wondering how long of a cable they need to get to the trunk..., I used a 17-foot Red power cable and that worked perfectly to go the route you showed and up under the backseat and into the trunk.
U could also make a hole through where the master cylinder for the clutch would be if the car is automatic, usually there is plenty of space to drill through and you wouldn’t have to worry about anything being on the other side, also it follows the path closest to the battery , works for pretty much all automatics Honda Accord and other models early 2000’s to the present

I discovered a much easier way to do this on the 2008-2012 Sedans. Right below where the passenger wiper motor is mounted, about 10 inches down is a factory designed plastic grommet. It sits next to two lines running downward. It is hard to see at first so a flashlight would help. Once you see it then it becomes EASY to remove and run a wire through it. It comes out behind the drivers side of the dash. This cuts down on all the wiring you have to do through the passenger side.
This worked great, kind of hard to see but once you do it's easy, I drilled out the middle of the grommet and ran the wire through then put it back in.
replace the grommet or drill a hole in the middle or you will experience a wet floor or inoperable dash due to water getting in.. ASK ME how i KNOW! LOL no fun replacing the ECU cause it got water damaged smh.

Not even close like mine is in the very far right corner tucked away and it's damn near impossible and I really don't know what to do right now. I already have all the wiring and everything and I've done this many times but ghetto threw the door jamb and I'm trying my best not to do that anymore and go through the firewall right now. If anyone could comment and give me any tips or advice I would really appreciate it. I have already ran a coat wire hanger from the inside of the car through the firewall and I can feel the coat wire hanger when I snake my hand around the corner inside the hood. But there's no way that I can ball up a fist with my zero gauge wire in hand and get through there properly. I really don't know what to do
You dont even show where the hole comes through the interior lmao all i see is a blower motor, i dont see tbe grommet. Based on where it is on the outside it looks like its somewhere behind or above the blower motor.
I'm more concerned about the connector. It's going 90°. Also yes that terminal is not very good. For $20 he could put a nice terminal splitter on that post. I hate hooking up stuff when it's all s***** like that. No way I can make a video of an install with connections like that. Four gauge wire it looks like a 16 gauge connector. Lol
