    How times have changed! Alternative health practitioners have long spoken of gut health and were called quacks by the medical doctors.

    Bowel movements :
    1. Get the Squatty Potty.
    2. When consuming fiber, do so with plenty of water. Otherwise, if you consume fiber only without water, you're doing the opposite and you will constipate.
    3. Eat super food Chia Seeds daily. 1 tablespoon for regularity. Build up to it. Start with 1/2 teaspoon

    Lentils are so healthy for the intestines. If you suffer from gas from legumes, take digestive enzymes or beano.

    This is very bad advice that its normal to have a bowl movement every three days. If you eat plant based only which is best for the gut you will have 3 per day.

      John H.....Exactly, ......I eat a flexible vegetaranian way of eating and moderate exercise and lots of water...NO RED MEAT OR PORK, salty or sugary foods and drinks, FAST FOODS, ......LOTS of beans, nuts, Wild caught salmon , halibut, sardines, little tuna, and lean chicken breast and turkey, NO...deli meats, breakfast meats, hotdogs, red meat or pork and sugary foods....I love the Mediterranean way of eating and moderate exercise , light hand weights, walking 7 days a week...Lots of carrots, fresh garlic and vegetables and fruits...lots of broccoli, kale, collards, baked sweet potatoes in the skin, mushrooms, red peppers and onions, cabbage, ..little BROWN RICE, little whole wheat or multi grain bread, pasta......NO, smoking, drinking, drugs, sodas, fruit juices or sugary drinks!...A little coffee and green tea...lemon with water ...etc...
